this guys sucks, plain and simple. The only reason he became national team goalkeeper is that current idiot head coach of ours was the coach of Pakhtakor as well where he bribed and match-fixed his way into two domestic titles. This so called "coach" continues to invite his shitty Pakhtakor players into the national team to market them and get some profit from their potential transfers to some foreign Asian clubs. and the idiots at Uzbekistan Football Federation hired this crook There's reason why we haven't heard anything from newly formed Central Asian Football Association as the president is none other than our idiot UFF president Mirabror Usmanov.

1.Lobanov didn't look promising in today match. I couldn't see any reflex on the second goal. He is fat and needs to work very hard on a diet. He needs to lose 15 to 20 kilos.
2. Alisha and Taremi waste more opportunities than scoring
3. Taremi should be a second striker or CM not FW.
4. Alipour shows more promises now.
5. Persepolis defense looks better but still needs more work now.
6. Kamyabinia made three big mistakes today. Losing Penalty, Losing a good goal opportunity, giving a penalty to Zobahan
7. I would use Ahmadzadeh instead of Alisha next time.
8. Kamandani should come for Kamyabinia
9. We should use Bengson as well.
Overall Persepolis plays good but needs to have a solid penalty kicker and a finisher. We are losing too many opportunities.

Persepolis is playing the best attacking football in Iran right now by far. No one is even close currently.
However the mistakes are unacceptable. Way too many mistakes for a team trying to win the championship. The whole defensive line needs work. They lose composure on all crosses and penetration into the penalty area.
Also on the attacking end the players were blowing their opportunities. Taremi was still phenomenal. His speed of play, his little flicks and passes are a joy to watch and he can easily be an attacking midfielder.
We should have closed the gap with the table leaders already.

I would let Bengtson take the penalty kicks. One thing I've notied is that our strikers are too stressed to finish. Jerry seems to keep his cool in 1 v 1 situations

Agreed, he needs to have a bigger role I've been saying this for months. I don't think Branko rates him very much....he is a great finisher IMO.

Our penalty wasting trend has become quite fearsome and annoying, every time we're granted a penalty kick, I cringe, and get all stressed out, especially in crucial matches, where and when a goal desperately matter and counts.

I fee bad for Kamyabiniya, he wasted the penalty shot, immediately followed by his unbelievable empty net blunder, and finally wrapped by his terrible penalty give away. I would never wanna be in position today!

Our team is playing the best football in the league hands down, not sure when the last time was that I saw Perspolis play this beautiful and attacking football. Indeed a very very long time. Let's cherish that comrades!

4 points lost... both games against the Esfahanis teams should have been won, but as always we easily wasted huge chances and instead conceded some poor goals. Our defensive line is way too shaky, only our DM is fully trustable. As much as a I like Branko, but he is the one to be blamed: Rejecting Jalal Hosseini for no reason at the beginning and not changing anything during the transfer window... we need some fresh and young blood for our CB to mix them with our older players.

The trio Alishah, Alipour and Taremi is extremely powerful - these 3 can destroy any defense in the league and exactly this trio created almost all chances against Zob Ahan, including the 2 goals. No doubt that Alipour must be kept in the starting line-up! With Bengtson also doing well we have a luxury problem, Branko needs to find a way to use them all as they are too good to sit on the bench.


Posted this in the other thread already, but here are some interesting facts about Perspolis this year:

13th times we hit the crossbar!
6th times we missed a penalty!
Still we have scored in all our games!

8. Kamandani should come for Kamyabinia

That would be a fatal mistake! Kamyabinia has been a monster; the way he rules our DM and destroys the opponent’s game is phenomenal. One unlucky game doesn’t change the fact that he has been one of our best players and the whole league. BUT I do agree that Kamandani should get more playing time, maybe replace him with Ahmadzadeh.

Taremi was still phenomenal. His speed of play, his little flicks and passes are a joy to watch and he can easily be an attacking midfielder.

He is a monster... even on a bad day and when he doesn’t score, he is a playmaker, the engine and heart of this team! Always there, at every offensive scene you can see him having an influence. If he learns to keep a cool head and improve his finishing he can easily surpass Azmoun and Gucci!

I dont get why anybody would be bashing lobanov....none of the goals he conceeded were his error. the 2nd goal from zob ahan was much more bengars fault than his, that ball came in really fast
