For those pissed at Ando for joining al shottor, please, give the man a break. He is a true warrior, leader, and one of the fittest guys on TM, according to stats last WC. He ran the most of any Iranian player and gave his all. It is ridiculous to say he is not TM captain material bc he joined Al Soosk, because, if he had joined Naft, Esteghlal,ETC nobody would say a thing. The reality is, the level of IPL and Al Soosk/Shottor leagues is very,very similar. In fact, The majority of facilities in Arab countries are better because of Al Sheikhs. So Stop this BS nonsense. Ando is a leader, with experience in the top leagues of Europe. So yes, he decided to go to one crap league over another because in Al Gutter he gets paid more money. He is still the man to lead to TM to next work cup.

As some1 said correctly, IF Cashkan and Guzzi can go there, then Ando should be no problem at all for us fans.
He served so many years for TM and his career is reaching the end. I am fine with this. The younger players are my main concern.

Ando went from Abumoslem to Bolton, Fulham and Barnsley. He has played his heart out in 2 World Cups and 3 Asian Cups. The guy has spilled tears for his country in every tournament he has played.


If Ando has 2 qualities, they are pride and ambition.

He is one of my favorite players, but TM captain needs to always keep in shape and show leadership and play at the highest level they can. They have to be an example to all players and teammates.

Ando is not fit to be captain. I still disagree with CQ decision. Ando is a good quality player but he is no leader. Hajsafi should be captain. He is young and can captain the team for 8+ years. If ando gets injured (especially now that he is in Qatar) he will not recover quickly. Plus who knows if he does not retire before wc2018 for "personal reasons".

At the same time, it's not all the players faults if ipl teams just actually paid the salaries, the likes of neku, Ando,Montazeri, Jabari, etc would all be in iran. 1.2 mil isn't even that much maybe the nuclear deal will help with the financial situation if it even happens.

Ando has served TM for many years. He deserves to make money late in his career. If Ashkan, and Goochi can do that, we shouldn't complain abut Ando. IPL is the least professional and ethical league I know of. The amount of BS that goes around for this crappy league, is just not worth it. I am surprised how Ando did not make a move earlier.

I don't mind Javad getting paid at all. This is his career and he's provided many years of service to us. But the other guys who are on Team Melli - they should get an "unfriend" button as soon as they decide to go to Qatar. This is horrible.
