This sounds good but his actually Afghan where it says he was born in Kabul, Afghanistan according to this website http://www.foxsportspulse.com/team_i...138106-327442- Its strange they labelled him as Iranian in the article. Jafari is one of the success stories from the football program. He travelled alone as a 16-year-old asylum seeker in 2012, and once his refugee status was approved, the Iranian teenager moved to Brisbane.
Jafari first competed in the tournament in 2013, playing for the Afghani Brisbane All-Stars team, before moving to semi-professional National Premier Leagues Queensland team Olympic FC.
