Jafari is one of the success stories from the football program. He travelled alone as a 16-year-old asylum seeker in 2012, and once his refugee status was approved, the Iranian teenager moved to Brisbane.

Jafari first competed in the tournament in 2013, playing for the Afghani Brisbane All-Stars team, before moving to semi-professional National Premier Leagues Queensland team Olympic FC.

Probably his an Afghan refugee who was brought up in Iran. He looks quite typical for a Hazara.
