CQ didn't get pissed off at him. Rahmati retired from Team Melli and CQ said 'thank you for your services'. In usual Iranian fashion, Rahmati's action was a ploy to get attention - he thought like most Iranian coaches, CQ would sit down for chai and shirini while begging Rahmati to return to Team Melli.

Don't worry much about it though. Despite his indifference, Rahmati is in all likelihood regretful of his Team Melli exclusion. Bigger players than him have missed World Cup (i.e. Keane 2002) and years later gone on to admit their stupidity.

I really enjoyed having Rahmati in net when he used to play for the national team, I felt very confident with him as our goalie. Its a shame for him that because bache bazi and loos kardan he lost his position and never got to play in the world cup despite having like 70 caps for the national team. He thought CQ would play his game, and beg him to come back, guess he forgot CQ is a professional coach and doesn't abide by these rules. Obviously after all this (And his interview a while back when he said he isn't going to apologize) he won't say he misses the national team.
