Camran jan, I think these guys have some meaning. At the end of the day both clubs put on majority of their first XI. And once again it shows that our league, is only a tiny step down from the Super Lig (we just don't have the big clubs). Great results against 3 Super Lig teams.

I agree with you aziz, the Turkish league is quite obviously stronger than our league (look at their top teams), but other than that, we are not that far behind imo, I just posted this to show all the haters who started saying we are 5th tier material after one friendly game vs Fenerbache lmao.

Perspolis drew 0-0 vs Genclerbirligi, Foolad is currently up 1-0 against Eskisehirspor, and Sepahan is up 2-0 against Mersin İdmanyurdu.

EDIT: Foolad just scored their 2nd goal. Third now.

All of the three teams are playing in the first divison of Turkey.

The games are not over, and I still maintain that friendly game results are pointless and say nothing about either the Turkish league, or the Iranian league, but since some people like to come out of their caves and start flaming as soon as our teams do bad, I thought we could post some of the good results too. Will be fun to see their reactions now too if Foolad and Sepahan win, they will probably come up with some excuses for the Turkish teams.

Zob Ahan comfortably beat Turkish 2nd Division side Boluspor 3-1. Can we atleast say PGPL is better than Turkish second division. Or is it still a "third or fourth rate league", which 99th division of Germany produces better talent.

Last year they had a not so good first half and an amazing second half. It's their style. As long as they stay mid table in first half Zob will win it all. There is only one quality team in the IPL and that is Zob Ahan. Not Sepahan, Not Tractor Making Co., not PP or SS and definitely not Naft.

Listen bro ive watched Zobahan's games for years. This was their first good season since the departure of Ebrahimzadeh. However even in the 2 years they were battling relegation they played well offensively but their defence was horrendous. Defence is still horrible and worse then half of IPL's teams, if they would buy some good defenders they will be even better then what they are. Theres no doubt Zobahan had a very fluid offensive year, but you gotta relax, one half season doesnt make them the best team in IPL.

Zobahans defence is horrible bro, and with Carlos Santos gone it could possibly get even worse. Sepahan played the same Fenerbahce without Nani last year and lost 1-0.
