The reason that a lot of iranian players went to qatar is because they are money hungry not because qatar wants to bring their level down. There are even more korean players in UAE and Qatar. With Pouladi possibly not returning.... we have a hole in LB again. We always had a problem in this spot until CQ came and brought in Pouladi out of nowhere. Hashem stepped up to the plate for the last 3 WCQ's (he was also a surprise invite at that time).
However, we are having a slight problem at LB again. If Hashem stays fit, he can be a good solution until we find a younger backup. He may not have had the best club season, but:
Hashem at TM >>>>> Hashem at Esteghlal
Whether we like it or not, Hajsafi will most likely be the back up LB (unless CQ has another surprise up his sleeve)Comment
