I actually think it's a great thing that they're celebrating. It's still a great result for becoming 2nd in the league, and when the players celebrate, the fans will start celebrating too. They're looking at this draw positively and it's a good thing.

Imagine if PP or Esteghlal had become 2nd in the league in Azadi, people would start bringing down the whole city but if their players would have started celebrating then it wouldn't happen.

Hmm, so a strategic move by the players to calm fans down and shrug off blame on themselves?

Its just difficult to digest, I've never seen that type of reaction when a team is so close.

Of course its also psychological, but there is no doubt, from what I have seen from Ando in teammelli, he is a very special player. I would say he is our most underrated player (along side hosseini), but he absolutely runs the midfield. He also has huge influences on assists and semi-assisting (not sure if right word) goals. That sending off has to be explained to me, and there better be a good reason. If it is a case of swearing or bad language then that would be so unbelievable to me coming from an experienced player like him, after his team just scored? Seems illogical but didn't see much else..

Apparently the announcer in Tabriz congratulated the fans for winning the championship and everyone started celebrating!

There is a rumor going on that this was done in order for the fans to leave the stadium without damaging it and getting out of hand.

we gotta one of these guys in our over 40 local iranian team, and the other week he took the ball from our keeper and scored a goal on us..!! apparently because he was yelling for ball earlier and teammate didnt pass him the ball..!! lol
i mean i love the guy and he is a dear friend but sometimes i wonder wtf is going through his mind..??

Most probably and it's a good move by them. Our fans need to learn to cheer for their team even if they loose and clap for the team who won the game.
