How do you know he got rejected? Was there news of this?Originally posted by Shah Abbas View PostWe have enough IRANIAN talented players, we don't need someone who got rejected by Japan to come and play for us!
Maybe he didn't want to commit and be stuck with Japan?راه یکی است و آن راستی است

Really? I know you are saying this just to provoke, but he has played his entire career in the J-League. Only this year he plays in J-League 2, because his team got relegated. He got an offer from Spanish team Zaragoza to join, but he wanted to stay loyal to the fans and help Cerezo back to the highest division.Originally posted by clipsport View PostThat's all we need. A second division J league player.

Why would we invite a J League Div. 2 player when we have a bunch of talented youngsters in IPL?Ma Bishomarim

If he joins now, he can cover for Neko, although he is CMF. Btw he was called up to Japan but placed on bench and I guess he missed WC 2010 because of his injuries. He was very good back then and still is better than many IPL players but not much higher. You guys have to consider JNT has many awesome MFs and Aria being among 23 squad shows his quality.
We still have good players at the same level as him in IPL, so joining the team is not a major difference.

For those who are saying that Iranians would be a better choice: yes, there may be some decent Iranian midfielders who could replace Aria, but CQ is going to invite 50 players for the upcoming camp and therefore want to test all those players that he wants to consider for the WCQ, Aria is one of 50 players, 27 of them are going to be excluded for the game vs Turkmensitan
So let's wait and see
