Did someone say Aria isn't Iranian? I didn't see that... Even clipsport was saying that he shouldn't be invited because of his quality. I support inviting Aria and the other foreign-based players, and I think it is reasonable to disagree when you have legitimate well-thought out opinions like Dreamer. Anyone saying Aria is not Iranian is stupid, but I don't think anyone is saying that. Best not to open that "Iranian-ness" can of worms again. We've all fought about that enough.

Rumor: Aria Hasegawa invited to TM?

Dejagah did the same, and I think he loves Iran a lot. Choosing a country that is more convenient for you at a specific time does not show any disrespect to the other country. You are assuming he doesn't love Iran based on the fact he was born in Japan, lives in Japan, and has citizenship problems if he leaves Japan. He may be as loving of Iran as you and me. Don't judge based on circumstances that are complicated and that you are making assumptions about. I love Dejagah, and I know he loves playing for TM, but a few years ago, people were crapping on him for choosing Germany over Iran. He lived there for 20+ years and plays in their league, grew up in their system, and they're a strong World Cup quality team. Forgive him for attempting to further his career and livelihood...Originally posted by OFFSIDE_1 View Postmy problem with him is that he rejected us once, and now since his chances with the Japanese national team is much less, he wants to give us a chance

He should be invited to the list of 50. If he deserves the spot, he will get it, might as well cap him, lets make him ours for eternity lol.

I come to this with one conclusion, in short, I do believe he should be included in the list. Looking at his situation and thinking of things reasonably, I can also see why he preferred to try to play for Japan. With all this in mind, I still think he should be invited, however there would be one condition, I would want him to acknowledge that he is coming to a national team that will fully support him, and that he has to know the weight of the jersey he is putting on. He is wearing the same jersey that the likes of Ali Daei, Ali karimi, Mehdi Mahdavikia...etc, have put on. If his heart is with the team, and he realizes this fact, then for sure he should be given a try. He plays in a position where we could definitely use more options in, and (although I haven't watched his full matches), from what I have seen he is a decent player with good skill. He has a strong loyalty to his club as seen with him continuing to stick with them in the second division, if he has that same loyalty to team melli then he should be given the chance to prove himself.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

If Germany wanted Zandi and Dejagah, they would opt for Germany in a heartbeat. The same applies for Ghoochannejhad (Netherlands).Originally posted by OFFSIDE_1 View Postmy problem with him is that he rejected us once, and now since his chances with the Japanese national team is much less, he wants to give us a chance
So I think it's the wrong way from looking at that perspective.

What happened to a person's own opinion? I totally disagree with what he says, but come on, banning him? That wouldn't be any fun. If it were the case, I should get banned too, because whenever I bring up the issue of naturalization of foreign players KC comes knocking on my door, and a huge debate starts to unveil.Originally posted by saadat_abad View Postclipsport ban shod?? can someone refer me to the post that got him banned please !!
Thank you to the staff for finally banning him! PFDC
