I'm not sure about his defensive qualities, but I know that he is great offensively, he has impressive stats for a RB.

thats because he started out as a striker, then when his team needed a RB he played there because he was wanted playing time and whatever to help his team. thats what he said 2 weeks ago on navad.

The team you play for has a huge effect on performance.

Full respect to Rah Ahan, but if you are above average in the league while playing for Rah Ahan (this year, at least), that is pretty good. Imagine him on Zob Ahan, Sepahan, SS, Naft, etc..

Ya but how did Portuguese teams see him I doubt they are watching the ipl in general, forget about a relegation zone team. He's also only played a few mins in friendlies for tm. I'm not doubting his ability I just don't see how he would have gotten noticed by Portuguese clubs.
