True, but Hosseini has had a bad habit of having jittery performances in important games. Against Iraq and UAE in AC, he seemed to make many dangerous passes, and seemed less confident, and we all remember that horrible pass against Bosnia that sealed our elimination from Brazil. He's one of our greatest defenders ever, but my point still stands. No Iranian player rises to the occasion in both unimportant and important matches like Ando Teymourian. He's mentally very confident and stable. I never seem to think he fears any player. Hosseini is great, but I wouldn't put him at that level of confidence.Originally posted by Karimi 8 View PostHosseini is also very consistent

IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

nobody can come close to Ando in consistent Form and Drive dept...! that dude is build like tank and got like 5-6 lungs..!?? ageh Karimi strength & stamina Ando ro daasht, Messi ham be tokhme champesh nemiresid..!! he woulda become the undisputed best player in the world bar none..!!Originally posted by Ali Doust View PostAs far as form and drive goes, Amiri is the best we have right now.
your correct on Amiri as well, he has a bit above average overall football skills but his immense CONFIDENCE and DRIVE, impressed me the most about that kid's game upon his TM debut...!( although many here, unjustly bashed his early TMperformances ..!! )
i especially love his cocky Confidence on the ball, he would take on and go right at anyone standing in his left wing..!! lol the kid has No fear nor reservation ...!!
this was totally evident even vs Sweden & Chile..!!
ps
as far as getting cute on the ball o ye pa do pa, Shojaee has the edge over Dejagha but when it comes to EU-Quality, EFFECTIVE technicality to get by one's marker and having the physicality, strength, Pace and brute force to wrecken with Ashkan would blow Massud outa water..!!
overall Dejagha>>>Massoud ..!
currently Dejagha is just about the only feared attacking talent at disposal of TM amongst top notch opponents..!! he is about the only TM player who gets double/tripple teamed by our opponents and forced to be taken out of the game..!! he spends a lot of energy trying to shake off markers and get involved in our offense, and he doesnt have a very good stamina and fitness, hence he gets gassed and subbed out often early in TM games...!

Dejagah: I have no intention to return to Europe
A bit unrelated to Dejagah but just found it worth to put it out here.
Former Ajax coach Henk ten Cate has been very critical of winger Ryan Babel joining Al-Ain (UAE) recently.
I am quoting Henk ten Cate who coached in UAE: the level of the UAE league is comparable to the 3rd division of The Netherlands (semi-pro).
Just to give you an idea of competition our legionnaires have when joining these crap leagues.
