Why are Iran's training camps almost always in other countries? Do other countries ever come to Iran to hold camps? Is it because they have better facilities than Iran?

Sometimes I feel so emberassed to even believe for a second that it was gonna happen....Originally posted by Martin-Reza View Post^ as usual, it never was finalized, every freaking amateur in IFF talking about it in public, then the negotiations are never finalized and it's called a cancellation.
Not the first time.

Many countries won't come to Iran for friendlies, or perhaps want too much money to come to the country to play friendly matches with us. As for camps, we barely have any decent training facilities on par with that of world standards, this is one of the reasons foreign clubs/national teams are willing to have their training camps in Iran, add to it the political and social aspects of the country and where it stands in the eyes of the rest of the world.Originally posted by lml View PostWhy are Iran's training camps almost always in other countries? Since we often fail to arrange international friendlies for TM, in particularly inside the country, therefore CQ and in the past Branko opt to have TM camps abroad and in Western European countries, where TM will train in much better fields and better facilities, climate, nutrition etc. Plus we always manage to play at least some clubs or other national teams without incurring any costs or paying extra $$$ to the opponents. In other words they kill 2 birds with one stone!

this is the biggest reason why..!!Originally posted by Martin-Reza View Post^ as usual, it never was finalized, every freaking amateur in IFF talking about it in public, then the negotiations are never finalized and it's called a cancellation.
those goozoos Nabi and Taj used to be the main leaks for such bogus early announcements..! figured it would go away upon departures but it seems its an widely spread organizational problem at IFF..!!

But on a serious note, why would any team come and have a training camp in Iran? What do we exactly have to offer, that every other country can't offer at least 10 times better? Except for behesht zahra of course..

lol the saddest and funniest thing is that when you travel to Iran from the UK flying IranAir, before you land they go and do a 360 around khomeni's grave, no joke.Originally posted by rugs View PostI think the biggest reason why teams won't come to Iran for training camps is the mandatory 2 hours stop they have to make at behesht zahra.
