finally someone with brain and who you can understand, and speaks logic on iranian tv. I love this Javadi guy.
Looool at Azizi!! Nothing happened during 4 years?!?!! Mageh Koori?!??! Finish nr. in WCQ group, beating Chile, almost beating Argentina, so few goals conceded during WCQ, that the whole world is talking about it when we were mentioned. Have this guy been smoking too much of that afghan opium alongside Miley and Ghale-Mafia?

Never before CQ had I seen TM play with a game plan. NEVER! Even if that game plan is to park the bus. What CQ did for this team is beyond just results. CQ brought professionalism to our nation. For once we have a team that actually performs as a team. Long gone are the days where Rezaei smacked Badavi in the face during AC. The discipline that I witness with our team is amongst the best in the world! CQ brought professionalism and discipline to our nation. To me that is the biggest "khetmat" a coach has done for our TM. CQ knew what our weakness was and he tackled it and we see the results from it. Somebody ask MK what the hell has he given our nation in his so claimed 45 years of service.

You are 100% correct. They wanted to offer Faraki a job as assistant of CQ and he said I'm not in a position to become someone elses assistant. Meaning he's too good to be an assistant of CQ. They have so much ego.

You know what a person has to do to "follow" you on here? They just have to click on ANY thread. On most days there is not a single active thread where you're not babbling away on every page like the perfectly sane person that you are. Then again the guy who posted imaginary job titles for himself and ended up a running joke on another site probably would think he's being followed.

I said the only reason we're somewhere between 1 & 2 is IR's policies, otherwise we would be in the G20 or highest HDI categorization (i.e. 1).
Yes Einstein, I know you were saying "only" because of IR's policies... Which is like saying "The ONLY reason I'm not a billionaire businessman is because I don't have a billion dollars and my business is bankrupt, so please don't say I'm not a billionaire businessman"! You know less about the country you were born in than some Americans I know. And with your wacky reasoning, knowledge is the least of your problems.

I don't agree with Oxford's definition as the countries from Bosnia to Belarus are also third world.

Any post cold-war definition is generally in reference to under-developed nations with developing nations being 2nd world and developed nations being 1st (that development can be industrialization or human development as measured by the HDI).

As I said, the only reason Iran is currently somewhere between 1 & 2 is IR's economic isolation and foreign/domestic policies, otherwise we would be in the G20 and have a high enough HDI to be in the most developed nations.

And here's some more reading material for you, if you're genuinely interested in learning something new for once instead of acting like you know everything:

Cold-war Era Definition most commonly associated with the use of the phrase 3rd World: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_World

Current definition of third world / under-developed / least developed (from Encyclopedia of World Geography): Despite everevolving definitions, the concept of the third world serves to identify countries that suffer from high infant mortality, low economic development, high levels of poverty, low utilization of natural resources, and heavy dependence on industrialized nations. These are the developing and technologically less advanced nations of Asia, Africa, Oceania, and Latin America. Third world nations tend to have economies dependent on the developed countries and are generally characterized as poor with unstable governments and having high rates of population growth, illiteracy, and disease. A key factor is the lack of a middle class — with impoverished millions in a vast lower economic class and a very small elite upper class controlling the country's wealth and resources. Most third world nations also have a very large foreign debt.

Examples of thirld world / Under-developed / least developed Nations: http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/least_developed_countries.htm

Categorization using the Human Development Index (HDI): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Development_Index

I know terms like G20 and HDI are way over your head and your reading comprehension is at grade school level, but you seriously can't even count to 3?!

There there, I made your day by giving you the 30 seconds of attention you've been dying to get for the past week, but at least try not to make a fool of yourself next time in the process.

Secondly, what's the relevance of me having worked in Iran as an adult to Iran being a 3rd world country or not?! My working there or not (or you having worked as an adult in Yemen or not) does not change the definition of what a 3rd World country is - it's not a subjective term.

Iran is a third world country every way you look at it.

It is relevant, because you are talking about Iran. So my question is, what is your experience in Iran? Have you ever worked in Iran?

Thank you. If it's not that, he's either doing it just for the money and doesn't give a shit or he's a sadomasochist! I personally think it's what you mentioned, but others have obviously not thought it through.
