well, this is more or less the same case for Foolad Khuzestan. I may be wrong, but most, if not all their supporters are Arab; their chants etc are in arabic and there are many separatists and pan arabs between them as well.
Anyways, Malavan is the perfect club to support, we have ba-gheyrat supporters, players ... oh and we don't have any separatist in Anzali

No this map is just to indicate the unity of Azeris outside of Iran with portions of Iranians inside of Iran under one flag. The rest of Iran obviously is included by default although the Azeris outside of Iran might not necessarily find them close with those others even though those outside Azeris are all still under the same flag as the rest of Iran.

It's really not contradictory. When we see the flag in reference to Iranian Azarbaijan, we don't make much of it other than that it represent Azari/Azeri pride, regional pride. Most of us don't see it necessarily as a political statement or symbolic of any kind of separatist movement.

You on the other hand are making it political, and bringing in your personal views about the country of Azerbaijan, questioning their legitimacy as a state, and claiming their flag "is an insult to 80 million Iranians".

And for the record I didn't post an image of the Azeri flag, I posted a nice song about Tractor that makes no reference to the separatist movement in the lyrics. You guys are taking a single image in the video out of context, arguably misinterpreting it, making it political, and attributing it to a whole fanbase/region.

you seem very confused. i was not talking about politics at all. culturally and ethnically azaris are closer to an iranian arab in khouzestan than they are to arunians. real azaris will not even wipe their ass with that flag let alone see it as a symbole of pride in being azari. azaris have many things to be proud about and that flag is not one of them.in fact many are not only neutral to that flag but dislike it. if you do not understand this then it leads me to wonder whether you are a real azari or an arunian. you also do not know iran's states and cities so i am leaning towards you being arunian.

I wish there could have been some teams from where I am from like Shiraz or other teams in Fars for me to support. I know one team, I like which is Bargh Shiraz but their nowhere as good right now.

What about Fajr Sepasi? They currently play in Azadegan League and you did request a Shirazi team. Also they have appeared in the IPL in the past three seasons, albeit not anything spectacular, and generally their performance was in the lower half of the league table (lately, just narrowly missing relegation) or relegation zone.

They are a Basiji run team which is close to the regime. They hardly have any supporters. More Shirazis support Bargh Shiraz even though their performances have been some what terrible in recent years.

Man hopefully in the future teams like Bargh Shiraz will come beck to IPL and Azadegan. The club is so underfunded and does not have a lot of money as it did before.

No, I haven't ever heard of Bahman but according to you and Wikipedia they play in the league division just below Azadegan. Hopefully they can do well in the future. Its sad we don't have many or even hardly any adequate Shirazi clubs.

For now I will stick with Foolad, and as I have mentioned at the moment I am not that keen on supporting clubs from Tehran and the north, where there's simply too many clubs there. Foolad seems to represent southern Iran and they have been doing quite well in recent years.
