I watched parts of the game, but Chile basically played with their B/C team. Vidal sat on the bench and he is their best player and Sanchez only played the second half. It's a good win, but it's not like we played the A squad. When Sanchez came on in the second half he created many chances that our defense couldn't handle. They didn't finish them, but if Vidal and Sanchez were on this result would have been more impressive.

We also did not field our strongest team. We won them without Azmoun, Jahanbakhsh, Haji Safi or PAG.

You can't compare Vidal and Sanchez to any of our players. One is a top scorer in EPL and the other is key to Juventus squad. Either of those players cost more in the market than the entire Iran Squad.

Winning 2-0 against a team who nearly got eliminated by Brazil on penalties in the R16 @ World Cup 2014, is a big accomplishment.

he is right 2'of those starters haven't even been called up since the World Cup and November respectively, but that's irrelevant. Also 7 of the 11 starters he posted for Brazil were on for most of the second half, but that's irrelevant too. Only Vidal and Mena didn't play but ya this was their Z% team. Also no Pooladi, Azmoun, Hajsafi, Pouraliganji, Rafeie, JB, but lets not mention that it's irrelevant too cuz iran sucks

In terms of Fifa rankings, this has probably been one of our greatest wins, however in terms of significance 1-1 with Scotland WC78, our very first WC point and 2-1 against States, one of most politically charged games played in the world were probably our best performances.

Maybe you missed something, but Chile changed their Squad, Silva and Diaz are out, they're not nominated, because Chile wants to make their squad younger.
Let's look into your list, compare players from WC with players from the 2nd half.
Bravo; (Silva is out), Medel, Jara; Isla, Aranguiz, (Diaz is out), Mena; Vidal; Sanchez, Vargas
But you are right, the team from the second half is Chile's C-squad.
I know it's hard for you to accept, and it nearly brokes your heart, but Iran plays decent football.
