بعد از شکست عراق برابر عربستان چند هوادار خشمگین عراقی منزل سرمربی تیم در بغداد را به رگبار گلوله بستند.
تیم ملی فوتبال عراق در دومین بازی خود در انتخابی جام جهانی 2018 روسیه برابر عربستان تن به شکست داد. عراقی ها در حالی این بازی را واگذار کردند که تا دقایق پایانی با یک گل از حریف خود پیش بودند، اما دو گلی که عربستان از روی نقطه پنالتی به ثمر رساند باعث شد تا عراق بازنده این دیدار باشد.

چند هوادار عراقی که به شدت از عملکرد تیم ملی کشور خود ناراحت بودند مقصر اصلی را "راضی شنیشل" سرمربی تیم دیدند و بعد از بازی منزل او را به رگبار بستند.

در این تیراندازی آسیبی به کسی وارد نشد اما یکی از نزدیکان سرمربی تیم در گفت و گویی که با ارم نیوز داشت تاکید کرد که خانواده سرمربی عراق به شدت ترسیده*اند و ضرر زیادی به منزل رسیده است.

باید دید که با این اتفاق سرمربی عراق در این تیم می ماند یا نه؟ عراق هر دو بازی خود را در انتخابی واگذار کرده است.
