Not fan of chinese league, but finally I see it is not that bad (specially if he had no offer from europe) that we went there. He exit from his confort zone and will be forced to adapted and fight in a foreign country.

We need to give the guy some time. PAG and Fonseca (another CB) just joined the team last week. For a team with this much problem on defense they can not just buy good CBs and expect magic to happen. The players need to play more matches to get adjusted to the team and can talk and cover each other. I say give them 5 weeks and then start judging them. I hope they take the time to practice more. PAG should practice a lot with Fonseca and the RB to understand each other on the field. This match looks like they are just running for the ball (high school style).

Fonseca has been in the team for about three months, at least two. While Morteza has been for only one week. As I said, they need time to be integrated together. Besides LB Zhao Honglve is also a new one joined 10 days ago.

What I cannot understand is why our RB Bai Yuefeng showed such a bad status in the game.

p.s. How do you think about the GK? Our forum is blaming him dramatically

wow, that was probably the worst and weakest team defence I have seen my entire life. even worse than osasuna...

After Arie Haan retook the team last year there are always defence problems...
We somehow miss Guimaraens, especially on defending. If you watched the game between Tianjin TEDA and Guangzhou Evergrande in 2013, you would find these are totally two different teams.

In terms of manderin, this is one of the toughest languages in the world, tougher if you don't start at a young age, but I guess players can communicate in English on the the pitch. Still tough to socialise. If you getting a taxi you'd better have the the address on a paper in Chinese or your mobile phone
Tianjin though is a metropolis. Given the training is mostly outdoors I wonder pollution effects players? etc. mind you with our lovely air in Tehran, MPG must be feeling right at home!!

Seems Google Translate is good enough

The bad fact is Chinese players seldom have systematically learning on those things except football, especially English.

TEDA thought about hiring some Farsi translators but unfortunately there are few universities set up the Farsi major. As the report says, BFSU (Beijing Foreign Studies University, the best university on foreign languages in China) only has 4-5 students on Farsi every four years...

You can hire one, usually they are good at English because they have to study their classes in English! I assume they are not that expensive either.

TEDA has specific translator in Spanish and English, but not Farsi. I watched a video today (would be posted below) and the reporter says that seems Morteza only knows a little English, is it true? I think this doesn't make sense.
