It seems that the Foolad will play in their new stadium after the season break.

      ^ Hell yeah!!

Congratulations to all Foolad fans and especially mardome azize Khouzestan! They deserve it

Even though it took a bit longer to get built and ready, this is the perfect example of what happens when a country has a private football club in their league. A club that actually delivers on their promise of a new stadium. Dameshoon garm!

Wow what a nice stadium, with perfect capacity. No shahrestani stadium should have more than 30k-35k seats, as they barely draw in 10-15k. The luxury of not having track & field around the pitch however can be quite costly in Iran, particularly in Ahvaz, as their fans have a long history of throwing objects at their dissatisfaction moments. Be it at their failed team/coach/ players, or the opponents.

Thank you for sharing Essi jaan and good to see you around my brother!

Plus the thread title should be changed to Fun thread, as it is the most fun and interesting thread to check on for updates and new pics and progress of our stadiums!

OMG, has artificial turf got his way to Iran? Thats NOT a good thing! See what it has does with the Dutch football.
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

It's unbelievable that north of Iran with such a fertile soil and natural irrigation doesn't have a half decent pitch and we have to use artificial turf!

The rainfall is probably the problem. Modern stadiums with natural grass in rain heavy regions usually have fairly high tech drainage systems under the pitch.
