I hope you're right because otherwise it would be a terrible idea for TM to play there and it sure as hell would not fly with CQ. That pitch is horrendous

The pitch is actually European standard at AQR, they installed proper heating systems and irrigation and etc. It really is a professional complex.

This is AQR at beginning of May. Best pitch in Iran.

As I have said before there is something very fishy about this entire stadium.

The roof structure has been reworked several times now.
The only thing that looks good is the pitch and the 1st level seats.

Apparently they won't even be doing the 2nd level seats, or installing the fabric that goes on the roof.

Mashhad and Ahvaz's stadiums will end up making Naghshe Jahan look real bad.
