The responsibility must be on each nations FA to check their players.This have to be in the FIFA rules if not their rules are more retarded than themselves.

Otherwise every football team could use doped players and blame the individual player if they get caught and avoid team punishment!

Jordan should have lodged a complaint within the prescribed time frame to have been awarded the 3 points. Iran have followed the correct procedure and lodged their case accordingly and within the period required.

Again IFF informed FIfa about 5 months ago so what is the timing on this Issue. What is the FIFA rule if AFC ignore FIFA letter. Looks like both of them FIFA and AFC are in deep shit. They better correct their this or we all have to sue them.

but fifa now confirmed he had been tested positive!

I dont' see anything new here...this is AFC's screw up if infact he did test positive.

Still, it is AFC's decision and not this guys...and if AFC called them both to the meeting, then something is going on- otherwise they would have just refused the appeal.

This is the problem, no one on this thread knows how this works (the steps that happens after a + test to being ineligible).

There is LEGALLY no way around it for AFC other than to eliminate Iraq 0:3 and Iran to play on Monday vs S Korea!

we have a case! we submitted it within the required deadline! There is a FIFA regulation supporting our case!
