I think it's more like, don't open four separate threads on the FIFA scandal or some guy waving a turkish flag at a Tractor match.

If there is already a thread on the subject, what's the point of opening a new one up.

That makes sense. At the same time, though, having 450 pages of TM news does not create a vibrant and up to date discussion board. There are many interesting sub-discussions of TM that are lost if someone hasn't read the pages on a daily basis. On the other hand, if they get a thread of their own, it's much easier to see them, read them, and perhaps get involved in the discussion. Yes they may push some threads to the second page but that's why admins can designate a thread as "sticky".

Strange. I couldn't watch the game, even after, so I was looking for the thread to read it and see what happebed.

Even when threads are deleted it still shows up with a strike through.

I was looking for it like for ever. Some strange things are going on here. I had some of my threads deleted as well. I found out when I was looking for India vs UAE match video which the pitch was full of water and I could not find it. Now I can not even find it ion youtube. It was with Arabic titles so it is really hard to come across one more time!

Does anyone know where I can get these results? The Tehran league was in place for most of the 80s into the early 90s. The specific result I'm looking for was in the 1370 season (which Esteghlal won on goal difference from Persepolis) between Esteghlal and another team where the game ended 1-1. Esteghlal's goal came from a Mehdi Fonoonizadeh free kick late in the game. I need to know what team was the opponent. Any help would be appreciated.

I posted this about 3 years ago. I cannot tell you how much I have googled for the answer as it was the last game I attended in Iran. Today I finally found the answer. The opponent was Shahin. I attended all the bolded games.
