Ironically I do not recall our fans being more pumped and excited in any world cup other than 2006 WC. Months before the World Cup all online football forums were super active and overwhelmed with super traffic and impatient/passionate fans. Even inside Iran people seemed to care and support way more than this world cup.
Our football fans keep getting sillier and less passionate year after year. There was a time that TM would pack every single friendly in Azadi, let alone official matches.Comment
