look zandi jan i respect you but i think you are approaching this from the wrong angle. what has pouladi done wrong to get his second yellow? he ran for the ball and when it was in the grasps of the keeper gave it a poke at the ball (hardly dangerous play i believe), iraqi goalkeeper gets up and shoves pouladi. pouladi falls down, maybe he exaggerated a little, but he was pushed he did not "dive" if anyone should have got a card it should have been the iraqi. maybe if the iraqi goalkeeper also got a card i would say ok ok i understand, but how can you penalize the victim?

Nothing pooladi did during that play involving the Iraqi goalie deserved a yellow. We can speculate all we want about what was said, the refs instructions etc... What we saw on screen did NOT warrant a first yellow card let alone a 2nd yellow/ejection.
