Do you support banning women from going to stadiums?

By adding the word discrimination you already assume its a bad thing so whats the point of having a poll to see if people support it or not. Also that word will sway people to chose the no option.

I am calling it exactly as it is, and as you see, that's not stopping a percentage to vote for it. Unfortunately the word hypocrisy or double standard does not even exist in our native tongue. Accuracy of the word discrimination to describe the policy only becomes even more evident when folks would say: I would not want my mom or sister to be there, but it is ok for me to be there! So they are either discriminating against men (for letting them be exposed to the 'bad' things the women are 'protected' from, or women for not letting them enjoy basic right they enjoy, take your pick.

Do I think women should be banned? Absolutely not, women should be allowed in the stadiums.

However, given the current environment, would I support my mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin to go and sit amongst uncivilized men to watch the game? No, the sexual harassment alone would probably discourage them from going.

If an environment can be created for women to go watch games then I would support it 100%. I clearly don't want to see women and men separated in different sections..but maybe a family section would be appropriate.

Also we need more security guards at the stadiums to clamp down on unruly behavior then we can be civilized people.

This is easily solvable, go to the stadium with your Mom, Sister or Daughter once, and if anyone tries to harass them, break that person's nose. Iranians are afraid of confrontations that might involve them getting their asses kicked. They won't bother your female companions ever again. I don't think the harassment would last very long. Maybe one game. After 20 dumbasses have to go to the hospital to fix their noses, it won't be a problem anymore.

This is how this issue was solved 80 years ago when women gained rights in the rest of the world.
