I am not convinced with the game at all, really embarrassing that we cant put together a few good passes. no pace on the passes, no direction. You would expect them to kill the game after going up

Have you guys noticed how UAE games are more attractive and open compared to Iran games!?
I think they will be a good test for our defense line and midfield and we'll be a good test for their forward performance.

I think the key to win the last game is to stop the Afro from getting the ball and denying him time and space by making him tightly.

ugly win, for most of the game wayyyy too much space between the midfield and the attacking line, which was too far forward, and so no space/time for buildup. hence why we didn't see ashkan dribbling anyone like the bahrain game and hajsafi's basically complete absence playmaking-wise. masoud cannot shoulder the entire responsibility of getting it from our own penalty spot to the opposition goal area.

You guys overreact hardcore. We had almost twenty shots on goal, we did not struggle to make chances, we struggled in making the right choices in the box. We missed at least 2 or 3 easy goals. Hajsafi and some others held the ball too long. Ando saved us many times.

yeah, but against freaking bahrain and qatar (who UAE beat 4-1). the game today was only won on momentary singular brilliance of azmoun. if we had SK or china or someone else in our group we'd be in big doodoo

Sardar probably had muscle spasm. It can happen again. he needs more minerals in blood. Probably works out too hard.
It is great to go to next match knowing you have already qualified and you really don't care who the next opponent will be. If it is Japan that is even better. We want to show why we are number 1.
