Perfectly said, plain and simple!
Unfortunately this simple concept is far too much for some people to understand. Whether we agree or not with CQs decision to cut KB (which I wasn't happy with myself) you have to be extremely narrow minded to not understand this simple and logical reason as to why he was left out!

Iranian conspiratorial "take suspicions as fact" mindset on full display here, LOL. You guys really think CQ left off Khalatbari because he made a derogatory comment about CQ in a newspaper?

Maybe I wasn't being clear. I was basically saying that Khalatbari is being overlooked b/c of the comments he made.
I never said that CQ kicked out Rahmati, Aghili, and Jabbari.
-Jabbari has retired from the national team, but if he comes back CQ won't invite him. I guarantee you that.
-Aghili and Rahmati also left by themselves.
Khalatabari and Khalizadeh are different though. They only gave interviews against CQ.
At the end of the day, the coach can do what he wants. If he is not comfortable with a player that has spoken against him. It's his choice. He is responsible to get results. I personally disagree that we should kick out players b/c of interviews. But that's just me.

You are also right here.Originally posted by xerexes View PostThere are very few coaches who would be willing to work with a player after the kind of comment in bold. It doesn't take a God complex! You really do come across like a troll at times.
However if anyone was in place of Khalatbari after being eliminated from the WC squad he would have been angry from the head coach too.
Khalatbari scored vital goals against Uzbekistan and Lebanon which helped the team to qualify. If we did not have him we did not qualify for WC 2014. So he was deserved to be in the WC squad. We had 3 right back like Mahini, Montazeri, Heydari (Note that GN used Montazeri as right back for first time and CQ quickly used the idea of Ghalenoei after that) at the WC. Based on that why another rightback like Beitashour (I am against having him in TM) was in the squad but not Khalatbari? Khalatbari was deserved to be in the WC.

CQ basically kicks out anyone who says the slightest thing against him. After all he is GOD. How dare do people question him.

You are 100% right about why CQ never invite Khalatbari anymore.Originally posted by clipsport View PostPeople get real. The only reason why Khalatbari is not being called up is b/c of the comments he made towards CQ after the WC.

CQ blacklist so far, Rahmati, Aghili, Jabbari, Khalatbari, Khalizadeh, (maybe also Sadeghian).

What Clipsport said about Khalatbari is absolutely right.Originally posted by ramingeles2000 View Postdo you know that you're dumb? have people told you? or am i the first? I can't possibly be, right?
I am not agree with him on Jabbari. Jabbari quit TM by himself and noone kicked him out of TM. He quit TM by himself, and he said that he is not interested to be in Iran NT anymore. He just cheers for it.

Bakhtiar broke his entire right leg back in august and was expected to miss 6 months in total, so he should be making a return around February if all goes as planned. Shame that he'll miss the ACOriginally posted by PSGman#19 View PostHe scored a hat trick in gutter today, he was one of the best las palmas player last year but always failed with TM. Next!
What happened to Bakhtiar Rahmani?
I was looking forward to him being a potential starter/key player off the bench for us!

Rahmati was done as the TM GK. Just go back to the days where every cross towards our goal was mishandled by him. Look at Haghighi and the presence and confidence he has in goal and compare that to Rahmati. His aggressiveness and willingness to punch opposing players in the head is refreshing. Rahmati on the other hand, preferred to grab is back and grassroll.Originally posted by clipsport View PostPeople get real. Aghili was a great aerial defender, but do you really want to go back to the bezan-ziresh type of game ?
Jabbari quit. Enough said, unless ofcourse you believe that we should send roses and love cards for jabbari and ask him to return.

On a serious note, I don't know most of these players so I cannot complain or be satisfied. About your remark about the in good form players, I think it shouldn't be the most important criteria. We all know that iranian players are inconsistent so they can be in good form now and be catastrophic 2 months after. The goal is to find the one that can be the skeleton of the squad for the future years (like ando, neku, etc...)

I think Masoud is still a very valuable asset to team melli but off the bench not as a starter. However this squad is a mixture of our experienced players, plus our younger players from the league who have been performing well, and most of these players are likely to be the backbone of our team following the Asian Cup. I don't think its good to call up players just based on their names. Hashem Beikzadeh has been the worst player in IPL after the WCQ and he is still on the list.Originally posted by PSGman#19 View PostActually a list without Masoud is a breath of fresh air.
