I know how to differentiate a joke suggestion to a real one thankfully (it's hard in some cases but still I am able to do so ). I am citing Iceland league as an example because I obviously am referring to all the 2nd Swedish division, Irish division, 4rth English division and much more threads that want them invited. The term kharejiparast is not a silly like you say, it's a very serious and common thing among Iranians, and the examples I cited are exactly the demonstration of that

I think it's a tough one to swallow for some to invite a 3rd or 4th division player just because of the name. The reality is that we currently have only very few Iranians playing at a competitive level in Europe and inviting eligible players who play let's say 1 or 2 classes below that level is not a crime to do. I don't see what's wrong with more competition and a sense of European football in our team (talking about professionalism). Honestly the third Bundesliga is a pretty decent league, just look up the stats. The same goes for League One or Two. But yeah, let's invite our superstars from IPL who feel too good for these clubs until they get offers from Barca ;D

Tbh your examples are not examples of khareji parasti.

Keeping track of players of Iranian descent has always existed in these forums and it is exactly what it's called, keeping track of them.

Davari was in Bundesliga 4 when a thread was opened about him here.

But he wasn't invited when he played for 4 Bundesliga. He was invited when in the Bundesliga itself. Let's wait until these below average players get to decent leagues then mention their names. The fact that they was a thread about Davari and he became what he is right now (which is at best 2nd choice keeper of TM), doesn't mean that 4rth league lad will become a EPL champ in 2 months.
I find my examples perfectly fitting the Khareji Parasti TBH, wanting a Michael instead of a better player named Mehdi for example, just speaks for itself. It's insecurity and khareji parasti. I can argue days with any one of you guys but I don't want to waste my time again for nothing like I said to just see the same things posted the day after

You missed the point.

People liked to follow him. No one called for him to be invited to TM till he was in Bundesliga.

Just like no one is calling for all these other players to be in TM. People just like to follow them and see their progress.

In fact I think that is the only positive thing CQ has done for TM other than improving the fitness of the players. By kharejiparast I meant if an Iranian head coach was in charge people would have been far more critical of him.

I have no problem to follow a player, but I am obviously raising this point because many people ask for the players to be actually called up even if they aren't TM material. If it was just to follow them like you say, then why would I say any of these? I get your point but this isn't the problem here.

Anyways I don't want to hijack the thread, but last thing I would say is that I hope CQ's contract extension will not mean inviting sub par half Swedish/Irish/Indian or whatever players, but that hopefully more players from Iran will be motivated to go to Europe to get noticed more and get called up more regularly by the national team.

I agree and disagree. I think we are more trusting in CQ, simply because he is considered a professional in the world of football. Most Iranian managers aren't even considered professionals in Iran.

So we are letting him do his thing, but I do like the clauses in his contract that are performance based.

And rightly so. What qualifications do most coaches have in Iran to be the coach of a national team? We are more critical of them because most of them don't know anything, but even worse, refuse to learn.

When our coach is someone who has gone through all ranks of coaching and has coached some of the worlds great teams, I think it is perfectly acceptable to give him the benefit of the doubt.

And Shoja needs to think long term, instead of 2 weeks ahead of him. He wasn't flapping his gums when CQ invited him to TM multiple times last year. And exactly which "khareji" player is taking Shoja's spot right now? All our CB and DM are domestic players, so I am not quite sure what he is talking about. He is just bitter, but if he had his head on straight he wouldn't be upset over one single camp.


Also, if we are going to the Asia Cup to win this thing, NOT changing the best defense line we have had in years doesn't seem like such a strange idea. Shoja has plenty of time to make TM.

Well I clearly see it. In every thread of these random guys you have at least several people suggesting a call-up. Specifically? No need to be specific really you can check every single thread posted each week and you will understand my point.

Well that's the whole point of what we're discussing! I just don't see what you're talking about.

It's no different than other player preferences people have, that's why I was asking who you were thinking about.

Do we call people Javan parast or pir setiz for wanting Beiranvand, Azmoun or Rezaei in tm?

As I said rugs jan, you can see this behavior in practically every single player thread, I can quote posts if you want or anytime somebody acts this way I can mention it to you, but then again, it's not in my interests at all to put people on the spot, to make them feel bad or anything therefore I prefer not to. It's a forum and everybody should be able to express their opinions freely (and of course it goes both ways, if people want to say what they want they should also take as much criticism there can be). But I suggest you to see for yourself every time there's a silly thread (we are not lacking any these days from what I can see ) about Iranian diaspora players.
