Good to see Farak!ri won't be our TM coach! I rather have any foreign coach than those whiny, khayemal vatani coaches. The only iranians I would trust are Ghotbi and Hashemian, simply because they are real professionals. Anything in Iran =/= professional!

Portugal national team is not doing well: they lost to Albania at home a few days ago. I wouldn't be surprised to see the current Portugal headcoach sacked and CQ reinstalled to the job. CQ himself *might* have inside info about such possibility, hence not signing the Iran contract for now.

^ Actually Faraki is very good; he steered both Naft Tehran and Foolad to the top of the table in all 4 years he was in charge. This considering his limits on squad depth and player recruitment with small club budgets.

قرار شده محرم نوید کیا امور فنی زردهای نصف جهان را در این بازی حساس انجام دهد و حتی قرار شده ترکیب تیمش مقابل پدیده را کاپیتان محبوب سپاهانی ها بچیند
Moharram will help till Faraki situated.

Sepahan's exceedding Budgetary limit may delay official registration for Faraki ( same with darakhshan /Perspolis).

        A minor glitch .

باشگاه سپاهان به علت عدم شفاف سازی در بحث قراردادهایش نمی تواند با سرمربی جدید خود قرارداد امضا کند

Zlatko Kranjcar Shortlisted for Iran Job: Report

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Zlatko Kranjcar is a top candidate to replace Carlos Queiroz at the Iranian football team, the Swedish site svenskafans.com reported.

The Croat coach was earlier replaced by Hossein Faraki at Sepahan football club on Tuesday
Kranjcar has been the coach at the Isfahan-based club since 2011 and has won the Iranian Professional League and Hazfi Cup once.

Sepahan finished fourth last season and missed the AFC Champions League for the first time in five years. They started the current season with three straight wins, but suffered a loss and drew three times.

According to the site, the Iranian football federation has yet to reach an agreement with Carlos Queiroz and former Montenegro coach could take charge of the team since he has been in Iran from 2009 and has a good knowledge of the Iranian players.

Kranjcar right now is a better choice than CQ. The latter is not very enthusiastic about the job anymore... it seems for him it will be just a few more years of the same. CQ in my analysis of the situation, is lurking for the Portugal job since the headcoach there is hairline close to getting fired. We need someone in charge who has been in the trenches of Iranian domestic leagues to make the best player selections and be stylistically offensive too. That choice, given the circumstances, would be Kranjcar... The few key foreign players can always be added to make a more agile team.

AW: Zlatko Krancjar resigns from Sepahan!

CQ will get maximum preparation for TM. Krancjar on the other hand boycotted TM ahead of WC. He won't be able to persuade clubs to cooperate as he gave a bad example himself.
