He has a contract with the Swiss side till 2016 but I hope he gets loaned to a new team, because he isn't lucky at Grasshopper. Maybe a move back to the 2.Bundesliga will turn into more playing time, a better form and more confidence.Comment

He was lucky to join TM at a point when we basically had no good goalies.
The only reason the goalie situation in Iran improved is that the league banned foreign goalies. All of a sudden our clubs magically found good young goalies to use, instead of 4th rate garbage from Europe and Africa that made some agent rich. They've now reversed this ruling!Comment

All of that could easily be arranged if we weren't one of the world's most pariah states. It's legit the guy's first season in Europe and he's already joining Wolves! The pariah thing may not explain all. I guess it is mainly because iran football never really breakthrough in the world level : no superstar like nakata (nike ads), Son, nakamura, never went to the wc second round, we didn't even qualify for wc02 and wc10.
