Mehdi Taremi is a very talented player. A real talent that came out of our domestic league and we saw him grow in our league and ultimately transfer his progression into Team Melli and shine as Iran’s top striker alongside Sardar Azmoun in 2017-18.

    However,

until he moves to Europe and to a decent league, until he works hard and does the same he’s doing with Al Gharafa with his European club, he is still behind his friend Sardar Azmoun.

You have to give the guys some respect. He scored several important goals for us in our qualification for the world cup!! I agree he should go to Europe and I will respect him more then, but don't tell me if you saw him in public now you'd be disrespectful to him because he's not gone to Europe yet lol

I don't think Kazemian or Madanchi are bums. Maybe they were not able to reach their potential, probably due to being drawn into the Arab money leagues, but don't call them bums. I'm sure they always did their best for Team Melli and scored memorable goals for us. Not everyone has the drive and professionalism and dedication to become nekounam or Mahdavikia...and even just to make it to team Melli is a huge accomplishment for any Iranian footballer!

Although I do hope Taremi goes to Europe and has a successful career there, and I would be quite disappointed if he never goes, but I'll never call him a bum if he doesn't!

Only comparable sides I can think of are Saudis, Tunisia and Panama and none will realistically achieve much so fair point.

And Taremi is a don, learn this to prevent future embarrasements like that negative post above.
That...and/or how many NT managers have one of their best players playing in an amateur league where it has been known for years that players there are not very fit?

yes its below PGL but it is still an Asian league with a respected standard (China, SK, Japan, Iran, SA, UAE, Qatar) and has done well in ACL
