Haghighi returned to Penafiel and resumed training. He is doubtful for their match against Pacos Ferreira on Sunday:
"More than a month later, behold, Rui Thursday recounted with Haghighi. The Iranian Guardian yesterday returned to Penafiel after participating in the Asian Cup. Although it was presented to the coach's orders, the usual holder of the goal trained himself conditioning, which puts him in doubt for the match with Pacos Ferreira."

our players need to STAY AWAY from premier league. it is the most unappreciative league in the world. they constantly screw players, even top players. look at jovetic and dzeko at man city now. once they were the hottest prospect and now for no reason they are garbage and they left jovetic out for the new flavor of the week BONY who still hasnt played a single min. for the club. lol
Haghighi is good in portugal, maybe go to spain, but not England.

English media and fans are hypercritical. If you don't perform for one week, or you get injured, your career can end and you'll be regarded as a flop. They hype the few domestic players they have and don't expect anything short of great for foreigners. Dejagah was only loved by Fulham fans when he started scoring every time he played and provided the spark for a team in its final days in the premier league.

I'll be honest, I don't think Iranian player should play in a top team in PL, you won't get chances, and you won't play much. Dejageh was perfect for a club like Fulham, small club, and did really well.
Even Championship (divison1 of EPL) will be a good choice.I've learnt it's not what you have in your life, but who you have in your life that counts

It depends on who is going to be going to the EPL. Wingers and Strikers are plenty which is why if you dont perform you get kicked out. A utility cleanup player like Ando can make a career in England. The only players we have that can play in EPL are the ones that can get through CQ's fitness regimen.

Lol if people believe Haghighi is going to EPL. The guy had a poor AC2015 and the blame on the Iraq game should fall on him. His last great game was against Argentina. He plays in Portugal because his Russian team thinks he is not needed for them. So his Russian team thinks he's neither starter or backup potential. He isn't going to the EPL. Best is a backup spot on a championship team, but it's not a big upgrade from Portugal. Furthermore nothing about this story seems true. Why would anyone travel to France to sign an agreement for an English team. Also considering that there is no sources named or no teams named to corroborate the story it seems faker than holy water.

but you cant say dzeko and jocevtic being unsuccessful means our players shouldnt go to EPL. Dzeko and Jovetic made the mistake of signing of city, a team known for buying way too many strikers and not giving players a lot of chances. Plus none of our players right now are good enough to play for the likes of city or chelsea or united. Yes i agree that getting playing time in epl is difficult but at the same time you're talking about overall the best league in the world. I would have no problems with our players moving to a bottom or middle half EPL teams as those teams are a lot more open to giving players opportunities.sigpic
