Enough positive BS! This is how we are always ok and satisfied with the status quo! Have expectations, demand change, and hold people accountable. This is the 3 pinacle responsibilities of all fans in any sport! Having fun, cheering your team, being positive ect. all come when you maintain the 3 pillars of being a fan. CQ has not delivered us anything...we have not witnessed any grassroots changes that have been permanent and lasting. He has not held those needed accountable, and he has not been held accountable. Calling people out in the media and so forth is not doing his job!

This is it. AC or bust. If Iranians don't get a satisfactory performance, no excuses should be accepted. We have blown opportunities for friendlies, quality training, and decent preparation. This is going to be more disastrous than our WC campaign, where sad reality is, we only achieved 1 point...1 goal...and minimal success.

How is it that Hiddink can be so invested in Korea, and really impact their football on all levels without doing so much press, traveling, and talk as CQ...all we want is what Hiddink did for Korea...or Halilodzic for Algeria...is that too much to ask?! CQ, stop talking about Ronaldo in the press...no one cares, and RONALDO HATES YOU...start focusing on Iran!

      What are you talking about?

Hiddink was grilled by the Korean media before the 2002 World Cup. They were claiming that he wasn't invested in the job and that he was often seen out with his girlfriend, as well as other things. Yes, South Korea performed well in the World Cup (under dubious circumstances) and yes, Hiddink became a national hero but he did not change the grass roots of Korean football. Nor did Halilodzic for Algeria. Iran making the Round of 16 will not equate with CQ changing the grass roots of our football. That has to be a country-wide initiative led and enforced by the IFF.

It's a known fact that Hiddink and Halilhodzic were big on including youth and academy players in training, and sometimes with the squad. This culture provided a stable future for their NT in terms of having readily available players with some game experience that will eventually lead both SK and Algeria in the future. In Iran, CQ has still refused to really include guys like Azmoun and ARJ in his plans (with the former really being left out), and has opted to bow out of tournaments like WAFF where these guys could get some serious international competition exposure. He then takes them to places to play club teams in leagues that are not significantly better than where they are already based.

Feghouli and Bentaleb were just breaking into the club scene when they became first squad members in Algeria. Now they are critical players in that team and are likely to help the NT for many years. Can you confidently say our older players, like Nekounam, and Teymourian have anyone who can step up in their place should they retire? We need to develop players, and stop realying on aging stars throughout tournaments. There was absolutely no reason ARJ should not have been played more in the WC squad, especially after what he did in Holland. There is no good reason why Azmoun should not be upfront (with or without Gucci) in AC...

How did the 2 federations not know the rules? Stupidity

Those FIFA rules are once more proven to be not suitable for the smaller confederations. So they could play Iran and China within four days but not Iran and Morocco.

And you can play 50 games in England plus European Cups and national team games but thus isn't possible.

                  A joke.

While I agree they are a joke, I also think a stop sign in the middle of nowhere with no real traffic is also a joke...yet, I still obey the rules and make a stop even though you can't find another breathing soul within miles.

Fact is, the rules were not made up over night, and IFF, CQ, Zimbabwe FF and their Vacant Coach Position (LOL We had hopes of playing a team with no coach according to FIFA.com) should have known about them.

Although not related to this thread, this is really an issue. Iran has played NK and Qatar in matter of four days. Asia must be divided into two federations and to include Turkey and some of central Asian states who currently play in EU. All within 2-hours time zone. Not 7.
Now in relation to this thread:
