it was a BEAST performance from Team Melli to shut down Messi, Higuain, Aguero, Lavezzi, Di Maria for 90 minutes. Some BEAST reflexes and positioning from Hagighi. If you guys check out the match-thread and post-match discussion threads on Reddit ( Match-Thread Discussion/ Post-Match Discussion/ ) you can see that we have won over the hearts of MANY neutral fans and literally everyone is saying that Iran deserved a tie (and a penalty).
It was an AWESOME game and lets hope these world cup opens up the name of IRAN to international footballComment
