Why oh why do we insist on signing foreign talents, never mind the fact that we only sign one year contracts with them. WHY?! Wouldn't it be better to invest this money into keeping your players?

Paykan sign Tunisian international Salim Benachour. He played 28 games for PSG, he also played for Rubin, Malaga and Maritimo. His last team was APOEL in cyprus.

To use government funds to hire a foreigner just to shine in IPL and then fail in AFC is ridiculous. This trend is getting worse and it is moving to goalkeepers as well.
This is similar to Qatari actions for bringing foreigners and using them as mercenaries. If a few foreigners come in and become role models and show others how to play the game that is fine but the influx of foreign players at high cost is absurd. Esteghlal and PP should be role models and frankly there should be a maximum of 1 foreign player set for them.
If they all continue bringing readily available and made players then the youth gets little chance and then you end up blaming CQ or anyone else for not having any confidence and trust in the youngest players. Frankly Some people like Sharifi could have made a difference and they would have done better than Shojai and Haidari but CQ just like many others did not trust them in big games but then you all enjoyed watching the tired and fatigued team suffer in front of billions in the hands of little Bosnia.
The youth suffered once due to incompetence of Omid team coaches and now this....
IFF must stop and require playing time for the youth. In my opinion 20% of each team must compose of the youth and we must set a minimum for playing time for them.
The teams that do not comply should be told that next year their budget will be cut short.
That is the only way to develop players who can take the place of Neku Ando,......
You will not get anywhere with the foreign players just as the Arab teams or Chinese team did not qualify for the world cup. The Ultimate goal should be developing players for the needs of TM otherwise it is a joke and entaertainment. Collecting trophies with foreign players in IPL is not far from what some Arab countries do to win AFC cup.

By the way for a team that mainly defends and occationaly counterattacks, you need players like the Dutchman Robben. In fact you need two or three of them. You saw how different he was in the game they lost due to fatigue. On a normal day he would have gone through any defense. IPL coaches should think who the potential candiates physically and mentally are and work on them to make CQ 's job easier. The IPL coaches need to make contributions and not just collect high salarries for winning a trophy with the best players available to them and with unlimited maintenance cost.

And wouldn't it better to have karimi going from school to school to teach the kids how to dribble and break through 4 or 5 Koreans and still get paid the same salary? Karimi has a lot to offer to the new generation as a trainer and he should be used and utilized properly. Going to Tractor or anywhere else will not make that team champion but he can help to produce players who will be champions.

mr.taj has actually done a good job in making sure clubs have a large number of youth in the senior squad. and regarding our clubs buying too many foreign players, that is incorrect because infact iran out of anyone other country that participates in the acl (except maybe for japan) uses the least foreign players. Foolad had the most foreigners last year and they only had 3! Persepolis and SS also usually buy foreigners smartly, although Tony and Kebe were terrible buys. Samuel was one of the best buys the club has had for a long time, the same goes for persepolis with Nilson, he will go down as one of our best goalkeepers in club history, shame most will remember him for his blunders against rah ahan that cost us the championship

Kebe wasn't bad, they only didn't let him play, you saw what he did when he get his play time? Its compareable to Ghoochannejhad in Standar Liege..
