But why did ebrahimi leave? That to to SS who are playing at .... oh wait, THEY ARE NOT EVEN IN ASIA! lol.
What was the attraction?
Typical Iranian football. As soon as a team gets successful, like Naft or Foolad, the next year they are raided and left half broken. So there wouldn't be a decent defense of a championship season or even an Asian campaign!!!
Poor Naft has lost some very key players too.

Daei is trying to have a deep team for three leagues/tourneys his team will play in.
Some may get injured or too tired playing two three games in a week.
He is aiming on multiple championship and is building a good mix of youth and experince.
In fact so far he only has 14 (out of 18 players allowed for this year) over 23 players for his squad:
Gk: Nilson, Makani
Def: Mahini, KhanzadehU23, Hosseini, Bengar, Pouladi, M.Hosseini
Def Mid: Haghighi, Kafshgari, KamandaniU23
6 out of his 7 U23 are part of National U23 squad.
Very good pre season work by Daei. He is still looking for one Def Mid (most likely Haddadi) and a central defender. ^^thanks, daei's system can only work if he ACTUALLY implements a rotation system, similar to guardiola's system at bayern. IMO his main focus for our team should be fitness... it is the important thing in this league, and btw apparently daei said there will be a announcement regarding Persepolis' two "big" foreign signingsComment
