Not trying to defend Vingada here but it is very unfair to see Iranian coaches with absolutely no resume come out of the woodwork and talk about how Vingada is not a good coach. The guy has been coaching in Olympic level since early 90s and has:

U20 WC gold medal twice as a coach with Portugal
Olympic 4th place with Portugal as head coach
Asian cup as KSA head coach
Egypt Premier league first place twice
K league win

I don't understand how people like Mayelikohan (who has lost to Vingada as a coach) dare to even speak about Vingada's abilities as a coach. The guy is definetly proven his worth as a coach for the past 20 years by achieving international success (not saying he has never failed, just saying his quality as a coach is not in question)

But you seem to defend him here. All that resume worth nothing when ending third in group of three in one of weakest group in first stage.



CQ got 4th in group of four also in a weak group but at least he has one good game . At least his player did not dare to behave like Khanzadeh under his watch.

Like I said, I am not defending Vingada as he has his share (although the extend of it we will never know as much of the events for the make up of this team happened behind close doors). Anyone can come out and say Vingada failed in this tournament and it will be a 100% factual statement. The problem is that failure in a tournament or with a team does not cast any shadow on capability of proven coaches. In short CQ could tomorrow lose to Maldives with TM and such event will not give Mayelikohan or any of the Iranian coaches the right to come out and say they are all of a sudden better than CQ. We all saw what happened to Manchester United in the weekend, although humiliated by a lowly ranked team Van Gaal is still top 5 coach in the world and no one can argue his capability.

They want to be professionals? What was going on in their mind to even consider going out till 2AM a night before the game? I can barely function when I stay up late and have school the next day, let alone them. No wonder they played garbage.
