What a disaster this was all together!!!

Adding new players just two weeks before the games - players that are not even eligible to play in the olympics - and destroying the harmony of the olympic team and losing like this!!! It was a LOSE-LOSE scenario for our football in every aspect!

While there should be no doubt about IFF & Players share of responsibility for historic defeats , Vingada bear brunt of responsibility for humiliating defeats. He took responsibility but only admitted his mistake of inclusion of 7 older players. His mistakes were much more than what he admit but he pointed to the biggest mistake.

JB was part of U19 team that originally was groomed to be U21 Olympic team. In his latest interview he named inclusion of 7 player at such time one of reason for defeats.

به تیم ملی امید برسیم، تیمی که نتوانست از وجود شما و سردار آزمون در بازی های آسیایی اینچئون بهره ببرد اما در عین حال با وجود بازیکنان لیگ برتری متعددی که داشت، برابر تیم های نه چندان قدرتمند ویتنام و قرقیزستان نتایج خوبی نگرفت! فکر می کنید چرا چنین شد؟
اتفاقا هر دو بازی تیم ملی در بازی های آسیایی را دیدم و آنها بسیار ناهماهنگ بودند. از نظر من مهمترین مساله این است که چند سال پیش در این رده سنی بهترین بازیکنان ایران جمع شدند و تیم جوانان را ساختند و طبق پیش بینی زمانی همان تیم اکنون باید در رده سنی امید به بازی های آسیایی می رفت اما متاسفانه بازیکنان دیگری که سن شان بزرگتر از آن رده است به تیم تزریق شده بود و اصلی ترین مشکل تیم امید را رقم زد که آن هم ناهماهنگی بود. از طرفی اردوهای تیم امید هم زیاد نبوده و حداقل به اندازه ای هم نبود که سرمربی بتواند با شناخت کاملی که از نفراتش دارد در تیم تاثیرگذار باشد.

مشکل را کجا می بینید؟
ببنید از نظر من مهمترین مساله همان موضوع اولی است که گفتم. من سال ها در تیم ملی جوانان بازی کردم و اتفاقا بارها با همین تیم ویتنام و قرقیزستان روبرو شدم. حتی بعضی بازیکنانش را که می دیدم، یاد می آمد که آن موقع چطور مقابل ما بازی می کردند. در مسابقات قهرمانی آسیای امارات تیم جوانان بسیار آماده ای داشتیم که با بدشانسی نتوانستیم به جمع چهار تیم پایانی راه پیدا کنیم. اما بعد از آن بازی ها کشورهای دیگر چکار کردند؟ همه آن تیم ها حالا با هر مربی ای، برنامه های آماده سازی شان را ادامه دادند اما تیم ملی جوانان ما تعطیل شد! بازیکنان پراکنده شدند و هیچ اردویی نبود تا اینکه پس از چندین ماه استعدادیابی برای امید شروع شد. این در شرایطی بود که تیم های جوانان حاضر در مسابقات امارات اردوها و بازی های تدارکاتی شان را به طور جدی ادامه دادند و الان همان تیم ها را به اینچئون فرستادند. در آینده هم باز کارشان را ادامه می دهند تا همین تیم ها را به مقدماتی المپیک 2016 به مسابقات بفرستند. از نظر من این جاماندگی ما مهترین مشکل تیم امید بود.

این تحلیل کاملا درست است و پس از مسابقات امارات بعضی رسانه ها از جمله ایسنا بارها در گزارش ها و مصاحبه هایی بر تداوم اردوهای تیم جوانان سابق تاکید داشتند اما ترتیب اثر داده نشد. فکر می کنید با وجود این خطا، بهتر نبود حداقل در مقطع کنونی بازیکنان جدیدتری به تیم اضافه نمی شدند تا همان تیم جدیدی که حدود 2 ماه با هم تمرین کرده بودند به اینچئون می رفت؟

صد درصد با این موضوع هم موافق هستم. من با هر دو گروه این بازیکنان کار کردم؛ هم بازیکنان تیم ملی جوانان و هم نفرات مسن تر که سابق بر این در تیم امید با سرمربیگری علیرضا منصوریان بازی می کردیم. بنابراین با قاطعیت می توانم بگویم هماهنگی این دو گروه بازیکنان با توجه به ویژگی هایی که دارند، بسیار سخت بود.

یعنی عملکرد ضعیف را پیش بینی می کردید؟
مطمئن هستم اگر تیم یکدستی به بازی ها می رفت نتایج بهتری می گرفت. از طرفی اگر صرفا تیم المپیک را به این بازی ها می فرستادیم، اگر نتیجه هم نمی گرفت، فشاری روی تیم و کادر نبود.

الان چه رویه ای را پیشنهاد می دهید؟
فکر می کنم به هر حال اتفاقی است که افتاده و بهتر است الان دیگر فشاری روی کادر فنی و بازیکنان نیاوریم تا فرایند آماده سازی تیم امید برای مقدماتی المپیک 2016 باز هم به وقفه نیفتد و آنها بتوانند کارشان را با جدیت ادامه دهم. همانطور که گفتم با توجه به شرایط فوتبال کشورمان، اردوهای زیادی هم برای تیم امید تشکیل نشد که الان بتوانیم عملکرد کادر فنی را به طور دقیق ارزیابی کنیم.

After U19 championship games , that team was dissolved, his coach was fired for one defeat .It took IFF and Kafashian one year to hire new coach. Vingada was not a right choice given the short time to the games as he admitted he did not know players. Afazeli was kept because he was the one selected extended list and knew players. Even Afazeli was oppose to inclusion of players.

if we would have guardioa as our tm coach, a.wanger for u22, mourinho for u 19, beckenbauer for pp, g.martino for ss, all this coachs cant change our football.
we have to understand that our youth have not the necessary quality even for get champion in asia or just play attractive football.
we have to focus all our power and possibility in the youth ,i mean the age of 7-12 years old players.
our players mosly start with football at the age of 12 with no infrastruktur and not good coachs.
Every club must have a youth teams of 7-18 ages and bringing foreign youth coachs ( good experience with youth infrastructure) that would cost not much and iranian coachs like Mahdavikia,,Hashemian,Daei,Mansourian,azizi,ak8 ,nekounam... together.
Why we dont use them for our youth club teams ?? we cant create or improve players by tm !!!

IFF, the media and most fans, cannot accept defeat and will not try to find the roots of the problem instead they waste time with excuses and the blame game. Spain, England, Italy, all were embarrassed at the world cup and they have some of the best in the world but it didnt stop them from getting better.They went back and reassessed their situation and already playing better while were still talking about how we were cheated against Argentina..

It all has to start with our youth and maybe incheon wasnt the biggest tournament , but it still serves as a platform for our youngsters to gain experience.we have a unprofessional league where players don't get paid on time , are under constant stress and influenced by a horrible environment. This will all keep a player from being a complete pro player no matter how much talent they got. How can these player become a true professional? Our league needs to improve in every aspect ( without getting too political, we know it won't happen) or GO TO EUROPE!! To me thats the only way we can turn the raw talent into something worthy!

Well, they won by 3 goals against Iran, so it's definitely not impossible that they get a 3-0 win in this game. The only problem is that they don't really need to, so maybe they won't be as driven to do so. The question is, do we really care to go to the 2nd round with this team?!

^ very true. viet was also extremely motivated to prove themselves against a supposedly good team like Iran. same motivation will not go into the game with Kyrgyzstan and my prediction is either a tie or a 1-0 win for viet. i don't really wanna see this "omid" team play until they get some harmony going anyways.
