Today Iraq defeated Oman 6:1 . few weeks ago Iraq in Iran defeated Iran 2:0 .
Iran conceded 5 goals during last 3 games. Won one , lost 2.
It seems Alidoosti 's D line is very porous and weak.
Hopefully Alidoosti will do better than last time he was with U19 when his team exited early stage.

Losing 1-2 to Thailand is fucking pathetic. After losing to Vietnam and drawing Kyrgyzstan this is a new low. Whats wrong with these lads?

Because or RB and LBs are too offensive, I dont understand why he let Hazami play as a LB? I mean he wasnt bad but as a LW/RW he can show his quality much better.

Coach has been with these players for 4 years and only few week before important game decided Ali Hezami as LB. He was much better than rest of D line but it show desperation of a clueless coach. He wants to use both Moharami & Hezami , since he was not thrilled by Moharrami as LB and Malavan played him as MF, he decided to make a switch.
Alidoosti selected 3 good , strong , Tall but very slow MF player against speedy Thailand and he lost MF to Thailand and now he blame players.

It is duty of coach to bring best of players , to give them plan, method and direction. There were no good plan against Thailand except long ball to Seyedi & Mazloom who were not skilled for that sort of plays.

Because Hazami was playing as a LB in u19 league too, and he is not bad but as I said on the Wing he can show his skills much better. I hope he play as a RW next game and maybe Jafari as a LB, because he wasnt bad in the World Cup, but sasan usually plays as a CB . Can you give us a line up you would like to see?

What are you talking about? Losing 1-2 to Thailand is a great result compared to 4-1 to Vietnam and drawing Kyrgistan (or however the fvck it is spelled..), be happy that we are progressing!

Didn't we make two humiliating exits in the 1st round of major tournaments under him when he was in charge of the U-20?!

Okay, so he did a half decent job with a talent filled U-16/U-17 team in one tournament (the AFC Championship) where we reached the semis which was followed by a single win in the U-17 WC in a game where we got really really lucky - that's it.

Let's move on... It's another tournament now and we start with another humiliating loss. You can't just keep using past glory (if we can even call it that) to say a coach is good.

I agree, the defensive line looked very unorganized. I think Alidoosti would do better if he just stays a U16 coach. He seems to be doing well in that age level as he has an eye for finding talent. However, when players become older, tactics become more important and thats something what he seems to be missing.
