He's 25. Don't take the criticisms too seriously he had a great season last year for TS and is in a transition now to a team that's overall in a sinking ship situation. It's early on in the season and both the club and himself have plenty of time to turn it around, he's a fine player but unfortunately like the striker position, the depth at both CM and CAM is really deep with ando, ezi, and Ebrahimi at CM....AK (if invited), Shojaeian and Rafiei as hybrids (able to play both CM and CAM, and Shojaie at CAM. That's 7 players right there you'd have to rate higher than him, if he picks up form a bit then maybe I could putOriginally posted by BacheLot View Postprobably..!!
last i saw of him was in TM camp pre-WC14, and he looked a promising CM..!!
How old is the dude now..?

Him missing the 14/15 season because of his military and the next season he had to play at Tractor really destroyed his career.Originally posted by Kiarash View PostWhat ever happened to this guy to never get called up to TM again?
Now unfortunately he is just a mid-tier IPL Player..sigpic

there was a time when he was reportedly very close to signing with rapid Viena, but I think it was bullshit.Originally posted by TAJ_LIVERPOOL View PostMehdi Sharifi dissapeared too
He is with PP now and is currently training. He gets to play matches during second half of season after transfer ban is lifted. He is still only 25 and can have a decent career if shows himself well with PP.

Bakhtiar Rahmani, Arash Afshin, Mehdi Sharifi..
All of these players got wasted. Though there’s still a possibility of them doing well in Ligue Bartar, every year we add 1-2 players to Europe which is harder for these guys to make an AC or WC list. And I’m talking about under Carlos Queiroz.
I hope Ali Alipour doesn’t fall into this category and leaves Persepolis right after the 2018 ACL is finished.
