U23 disaster by Abdi!

Iran U23 team with bunch of regular and some key players in IPL for their team players such as Khalife, Kouhi, Kahrizi, Gholizadeh, Razzaghnia, Saharkhizan, mohebi, dehghan, Taheri, Mazraee,Hazbavi, Hossetinzadeh, also Shahrabadi Iri, lost 4-1 to NK
and got eliminated!
this is the 3rd most disaster result of U23 in history!
i am not saying the team was the most talented one but, individually they had enough resources to at least make it to round of quarter final!
this is 100% on Khayemal and incompetent coach Abdi!
they had a good camp in Turkey, league was stopped and most teams released their regular players to participate in this tournament!
shame!!!

The talent thing is a good case study. By all accounts, these are the guys who we thought would be the next generation of Iranian players to be introduced in TM on a full time basis. Ghandipour was also supposed to be there. I am starting to wonder if we are just overrating these players as a whole?

some how we lost against N.Korea ?!?!

the reality is the coach of the team was a joke ,, but the players did not want to play and win something happened, they all decided we rather lose and be done with this shit

It's very possible, I did not watch the games but looking at the statistics, it's very scary: against China we did 0-0 and had 0 shot on target out of 10 shot attempts. The Chinese had 1 shot on target out of 6 attempts.

Against North Korea however, we had 2 shots on target out of 3 attempts, Koreans had 10 shots on target out of 21 attempts !

We may be slightly overrating these players but we know some of them have good talent playing for Esteghlal, Persepolis etc.. I believe when the team plays that bad, it says a lot more about the coaching staff. Whoever that coach is, he's not a good coach.
