If TM politicizes everything and uses it to spread IR propaganda such as carrying backpacks of killed children in Minab school while doing nothing for them at all in reality, or participates in night street gathering singing or chanting regime songs/propaganda and talk to the TV and media saying "They only play for their leader", then we as an Iranian internet fans website have the right to be political as well.Originally posted by sycho67 View Post
You created a football website and instead prefer discussing war and politics over it. I am sorry I will never make football political the way the US and the actors of the IR try to make it, though no one as much as the US..
Fair is fair. Tell them to be quiet and only focus and talk about football, and we will also be quiet and only talk about football too. Simple.__________________________________________________ ________________________________________

Because the Islamic Republic didn't right? Because a good number of the players and staff didn't, right? Because the IR national TV didn't, right? Because to the very last minute they weren't hailing Algeria as "a Muslim country helping another Muslim country" and bringing religion into it as well until they got F'ed over 1 minute later, right?Originally posted by sycho67 View Post
Learn not to politicize sports.
So we're good, YOU should learn to acknowledge the whole truth and not just the parts that you want to see and look the other way when it's inconvenient and uncomfortable to face the music.

It’s so interesting to see how some idiot so-called Iranians are saying do not mix sports and politics when this whole team is a political team. Just look at the messages they were leaving in locker rooms, and how the members gave interviews. You’re either living in a fantasy land, or pro Islamic regime, or simply an idiot. Fuck the Islamic regime and all it’s supporters and sympathizers.

they are acting like that mother who’s child is a fckn serial killer but she keeps defending the child, “still my child I love!” Choosing to be blind is a thing.Originally posted by OSTAD POOYA View PostIt’s so interesting to see how some idiot so-called Iranians are saying do not mix sports politics when this whole team is a political team. Another proof that the VAR is stealing the games. This goal was disallowed for colombia against Portugal. This is sick.
Fans should start boycotting these events till they take it away.

I’ve followed our world cups closely since 2006, and this is the FIRST one where I genuinely feel we DESERVED to qualify to the next round.
2006: we lost to Mexico & Portugal (deservedly)
Couldn’t even beat Angola
2014: Valiant effort, but Bosnia spanked us last game cuz we weren’t good enough
2018: Valiant effort, toughest group ever, understandably couldn’t tie Spain or beat Portugal
2022: Couldn’t tie USA cuz they outplayed us
2026: friendlies cancelled, overall poor preparations, visa issues, no Azmoun, no Gholizadeh, yet we got BETTER with each game. Deserved to beat Egypt but got robbed by the ref. Then got robbed by Algeria-Austria match fixing.
*If we weren’t jetlagged, we would’ve beaten NZ. Essentially, NZ & Belgium served as our prep matches before we played Egypt.
We can rag on Ghalenoei, his squad selection, our overall football federation, etc, but I truly believe in THIS specific tournament they weren’t the reason we failed to qualify.
Either way, I was thoroughly impressed with this team, and we’ll still have one last opportunity with this group at the Asian Cup in January.

Agree 100%. The players gave it all and deserved to at least get out of the group stage. Like you, I don't think we deserved more during the previous world cups despite good efforts, but this one was different.Originally posted by Prowess View PostI’ve followed our world cups closely since 2006, and this is the FIRST one where I genuinely feel we DESERVED to qualify to the next round.

Unfortunately, small small details can change the outcome. If Shoja's foot was just a tiny bit closer to his body, the goal would have stood and a very winnable game against Australia would be next. If Austria didn't score in the last second we would look forward to playing the Swiss on Friday.
People keep bringing up the NZ game. Yes, we should have won, but all teams have off days. We weren't terrible neither and NZ did well.
We shouldn't have to rely on luck and on other teams, but no one can deny that we were extremely unlucky this time. Many neutrals were rooting for us and BBC even published an article with the headline:
"Is Iran the unluckilest team in WC history?"

They can shove their heads in their rear ends for normalizing this.
This is what Taremi choke traitor said "normale"
I can understand that foreigners who dont know all about our situation easily gets brainwashed by media, but WE IRANIANS still have "patriots " who KNOWS but still gives this team alibi for NORMALIZING this disgusting massacre.
Karma bite shoja, taremi, Ramin, jahanbaksh and all the other irgc puppets so hard that its not even funny.

Are you serious ? You judge what Taremi said in response to international journalists trying to get some controversial statement from him ?Originally posted by Artaxerxes View Post
"The team was not here to do PR for the IR, it was here to play football and bring Iranians joy, I don't understand how this is unclear to some."
And what do you call this clip below?
And what do you call when alipour said the same thing?
And what do you call when Taremi said " ekhtelaf to har keshvari mijofte in normale"
and try to normalize massacre of his people by the regime?
You really dont want to see the truth.
Your personal agenda is that you still after all this say " its the peoples team" just for your sport entertainment.
Its not, it is 100% irgc infiltrated no matter what you think or say.
No team of the people would say " in normale" , he could just have said no comments, talk football , then we atleast could give them the benefit of the doubt.
To hell with this team, karma bite their asses so hard its not even funny.
Here is the clip of your so called player of the people, that filth shoja.

Yes it sounded awkward but how do you know how he really feels ? It's easy to judge someone when they're the ones with all the pressure of answering a politically-charged question within a non-political sporting event. I wonder how you would in his place, especially when you say it's "IRGC-infiltrated"... what isn't IRGC infiltrated in Iran nowadays ? wake up.
As for the few players who did speak in support of the regime, such as a bench-warmer like Alipour, I do not care, they play for Iran first, that's what matters first.KHAZIRAVI 4 LIFE !!!!!!!!!

That's you giving up on the team because it is politicized, when they are playing football for 90 minutes, there are no politics.Originally posted by Ardalan View Post
