yesterday Taremi could have made himself a legend in Iran football folklore, he got a penalty and he should have finished it off ,,, he always go to his left the goalkeepers right,,,, in the bottom corner … but ;

yesterday for some reason , he went to his right , and goalies left , and the goalie just guessed right ,,,

if he had put that in the corner no matter if the goalie guessed or not that is a goal …

penalties are basically goals like 75% to 85% conversion rate of a goal ,,, like where he scored free kick goal against Belgium was harder than that penalty…..

We all clearly saw yesterday how weak New Zealand ( 5-1 , 3-1 losses to Belgium and Egypt) , they conceded 10 goals in 3 matches ….. they sucked and and we dropped the ball against them now we have to wait and see what happens in the other games, we need to stop leaving everything to chance and other games …..

the line up yesterday was Iran strongest line up so far …. Replace kaani with Hardani and that be the strongest team we have with the players we have on this roster;;;

Yes, he is, by a mile. He is by far the most effective TM player in all WC appearances. While on the field, he's got nerves of steel. You can clearly see how happy he is just playing for TM, and seems to enjoy the moment more than any of his teammates. I really hope CQ and Ghana come through for us and send us to the next round.

I am ok with him being suspended, he was at fault both those goals New Zealand scored his man marking sucks ,,,, he is slow,,,, today he missed two easy shots …

we need to give a young player a chance like razzagnia + ghorbani;

I like him because he does tend to disrupt alot of plays defensively but you’re right he is wishy washy and was extreeeemely slow with his decision making with the ball at his feet against Egypt

absolutely. he's a "big game" player. i really don't understand - how did he not succeed in europe? also, i dont want PGL regularly, does he perform like this for his clubs?

I thought that Taremi would gain that title after this world cup but Ramin certainly earned the #1 spot.

Even if we advance, I have a very hard time seeing Taremi surpassing him.

Ramin’s dedication to fitness has always been admirable. I remember seeing his videos running in the rain when he was in Europe I believe, the lockdown he used to work out non stop. He’s always been dedicated to working hard and staying in shape.

There’s no argument, he is the best performing player In Irans WC history. He scored the goal against wales to seal our first win over a European side last time.

I saw him live against New Zealand and Belgium. The goal he scored against New Zealand he made that run like 30 times. He covered the entire wing against Belgium too. Leading goal scorer in our history, 2 goals and an assist this time, with two man of the match awards.

He is playing with all his heart for us, he’s always been one of my favorite players and I never thought I’d see him get to this level. Also every set piece cross he’s done has been spectacular. Ramin shireh, Irans best ever World Cup performer.
