Iran vs Belgium warm up talk

Ok guys first game is over , let see how the second games goes

for anyone interested about the player pyschical statistics

Maybe when you look at the goals New Zealand scored and the speed of the players you see that defense midfielders, saman and Ezzat are turtles in terms of pace and that is what hurts us more …

Ezzatolahi and sama ghoddos are both very very slow for a defensive midfielders in the position that why we struggled in that part of the game

This most humiliating game for the islamic republic will be this one. There is absolutely no answer to stop lukaku. The islamic republic should pray for imam Ali to come play center back because shoja and nemati will allow him to score 3 goals easily

My prediction Belgium 5 Irgc 1
    WE ARE THE UNDER DOGS

It’s going to be even worse than you’re thinking. They will repeat what they did in 2014 and 2018, they will play up to Belgium’s level, be unable to score out of bad luck and concede one preventable goal and break all supporters hearts. They do this almost every World Cup, repeat incoming. We aren’t so mentally as shaky as against England in 2022, and current Belgium is not at 2022 England level.

Our appearance will go the same way as 2014, tie the first game we need to win, barely lose the second game and have people embarrassing us saying “that was almost like a win, they played so well!”, then game 3 for the must win to advance, the team totally collapses against the Bosnia/Egypt opponent who isn’t light years ahead of us in talent, but has more stamina and have better mental health than us demented Iranians. 47 years of loser mentality from a loser government = we are mentally weaker than Egypt/Bosnia. We will finish 4th in the group, mark my words.

I noticed this pattern too , we usually play our best game in the 2nd game ,,,

WC 1998 2nd game we beat USA 2-1

WC 2006 we lost to Portugal lost 2-0

WC 2014 we lost to Argentina 1-0

WC 2018 we lost of Spain 1-0

WC 2022 we beat wales 2-0

          WC 2026 Belgium ?????

Belgium played a friendly against Seattle Sounders today ,,, they won 2-1 , played 2 x 30 min halves , starters started where losing 1-0 and the substitutes ended winning the game 2-1

Noah Riffe was able to confirm the final result with the Sounders falling 2-1 to the Belgian National Team. The teams played two 30 minute halves, rotating full groups at the break. The Seattle Sounders were up 1-0 at half with starters in.".

              ^^

they played Egypt yesterday lol I’m sure the starters were exhausted

TM played a decent game yesterday despite all the obstacles they faced

I have faith they will have a good result vs Belgium.

I still think we played poorly but the game is over now so no point in thinking about it too much about it …

but the biggest obstacles we face 99% of them are self made , no one is out there trying to mess with us , we have a system and a IFF and a coach who are probably the biggest obstacles for us ,, more than any fan that boos the team or anything else ….

and against Belgium anything other than a win or a tie, we basically out we lose it pretty much over and … we can’t risk it for the last game that is way too much pressure

Team officials weren’t allowed in USA so they had to move camp to Mexico.

Trump let a former isis/al qaeda member jnto White House last November. Al-jolani, president of Syria known for cutting heads off of Americans. Can you believe that.

A 45 minute trip took 5 hours at immigration, straight to training, then game next day. Mix that in with lack of proper friendlies, war, and your own people turning against you. These guys did a great job given the circumstances. They are heroes. The whole world is proud of them except Iranians lol. I know a small portion of us are proud of them. I sure as hell am.

hopefully infantino can help the team arrive to LA Friday at the latest. I feel they will play a good game.

If we still had amoo Carlos as coach, I'd be much more confident. The issue now is that the defence is soooo weak that Lukaku and De Bruyne will eat us alive. There is just no way we can last 90 minutes against this team when we cannot keep a clean sheet against New Zealand or weaker teams.

I'm being super negative now, but our best hope, (which is a very long shot) is to draw against Egypt and hope that many results go our way in other groups to just qualify as one of the best third placed teams.

i think its more fitness and positioning and tactics rather than pace. they were always our of position, no one knew what their role was or who to mark, its a lot down to the coach.

Pace isnt the biggest attribute needed for that position, look at some of the greats who played CDM, Busquets, Pirlo, Alonso, none of these players had pace, but they had stamina and IQ
