If I were the French head coach, I would use up all my subs and put in younger players who are motivated to play. The superstars have no interest in playing in this game and it shows on the pitch. Right now, this French team is demoralized.
If no changes are made, this will get even more ugly for France

4-0
I guess England want the 3rd place more than the French. As this is their best WC place after 60 years.

France is already on the plane. They only want embape to score to beat Messi.

4-0 England by halftime
totally predictable. The better team usually loses in the 3rd place match.
for France, their expectations were to win the finals. This game is meaningless to them and it shows in how they play. They are playing like a demoralized team

He had nothing to do with the goal, didn’t attempt to go for it and wasn’t interfering with play..Originally posted by webmaster View PostThe 2nd goal seems to be offside too. Look at number 4 player. Isn't he offside when Messi sends the ball?? Everything is so fishy.

^ that is why I got suspicious as well. if a cross ends up in a goal, they must show it but for some reason they only show what they want and create all these confusions. The fact that they are selective says a lot.

Interestingly, to the eye test, Messi did look slightly offsides before he received the pass to assist the game winning goal.
But how come not a single VAR offsides line replay was shown on television to at least show the viewers that he was onside? To me, this is suspicious.
100% if this was Iran, they would’ve reviewed that with the VAR offsides line.

I guess we dont have a better angle and it makes it hard. as you see from this angle, the pitch lines dont look aligned which could be the perspective. And the ref was not aligned with Messi either so only him could see it better but when the VAR didn't show it all these suspicions arises. look at the yellow arrows. So are the red lines parallel?
