Not true, they won last night and are riding in high clouds. They will come out to play to win as nothing is guaranteed. Belgium will beat NZ with goal difference, and Egypt could lose to us and end up in 3rd place. Even NZ had a chance.

Yes if they finish 2nd they are guaranteed to face the 2nd place of Group C which will be Australia or Paraguay. If they finish first it could be Norway, Senegal, Czechia, at worst Austria or Algeria.

If they finish 3rd it will be Switzerland/Canada or France, by the time the game starts they will know.

A win against us means they win the group and get to play a third placed team (Czech Republic as it stands now.) They’re not guaranteed to advance if they lose against us. If they lose against us and still qualify, they’ll have to play a group winner (Canada as it stands now) next round. A win against us is very important to them.
