World Cup 2026 Predictions Pool

Folks,

It would be interesting to start a Prediction Pool here for the World Cup. Just to add some excitement to the otherwise mixed feelings we all have for Iran team.

But for crazy football fans, life is measured by how many world cups one can follow in their life span. So, lets enjoy!

So, here is how it's going to work.

I am going to provide the link (below) to download the Worksheet from FJSports which has all the bells and whistles we need for the pool. - It is Free!

Anyone who is interested to join, can then fill-in their predictions which starts with Group Stage and goes all the way to the final game. The worksheet calculates all group stage table of standings, determines the advancing teams to the knockout stage including the complex third place finishers. There is both mobile and desktop version, but I recommend the desktop as it is easier to work with. You need Excel or can open it in browser. - your choice!

The participants can then send their completed worksheets to me (i will provide email). I will purchase FJ Sports Leaderboard Worksheet which depending on the number of players could be anywhere between $20 to $50. If anyone wants to chip in to divide up the cost that is fine, but if not, that wouldn't break me, and it would be the smallest thing I can do for great members of PDFC and the hard work of our webmaster and others who put so much into keeping this alive for us.

Once I have all the worksheets, say by June 10, I can then and as the games progress, publish the Leaderboard here to show how everyone is doing. Obviously, the final Leaderboard will be published at the end of the tournament.

For added excitement, we can think of a prize (of any kind) for winner of the best prediction.
