I can live without Allahyar, even though i think he deserved it. We are Ok on wingers! At some extend i can live wothout Hosseinnejad also( again no doubt he deserved to make it) we know we were going to play more of DM than CAM, but not taking Azmoun was a crime!
the worst in all that was, they finally decided to invite him, but realized oh shit wait, he wasn’t in the liste of 50 players announced earlier to FIFA!!!!!!!!!!

He should go play in Saudi or something if he doesnt want to go to Europe. Quinones, the mexican striker during the WC was great, and plays there.

As long as our players prioritize $$ over progress our Football will never improve.

Many of my non Iranian friends have said the same thing. He had the full potential but unfortunately not the desire.

If this interview had happened when he was 23, I would 100% agree, but he's 31 years old, maybe has 2 or 3 more years left in his career. As a professional football player, once their football career is over, their compensations are mostly gone. We have to put ourselves in their shoes. No one is going to pay their bills.

If you know you'll get overpaid in your last 3 years in UAE or qatar, why risk going to Europe to play for a low level team when you know your chance of getting that next big contract at the end of your career in Europe is almost zero. So at this point in his career, I don't blame him for not going to europe.

I like Sardar and he is still our best striker but i don’t think money is his concern! Of course he gets paid couple times more and trains less in UAE but i guess the main reason is motivation is no more there!

Particularly with all these news that his assets in Iran have been confiscated. Needs money to live well the rest of his life!

yes, but we don’t know his money situation. Even in the US , you see so many athletes making millions and once their career is finished end up poor, or even homeless. No doubt he does lack motivation.
