Even if we sent a super team to the WC, we still would struggle. Why? Because diaspora is convinced they are a regime team due to unrealistic standards and instagram. Its not possible to play high pressure football when thousands of your hamvatan will likely be out there cursing at you and or chanting bisharaf like 2022. Two player who fucked up esteghal all season Aref aghasi , he made like 10 mistakes every game in the IPL, and rozbeh chesmi are there in the squad

But KUSHKI and SAMAN FALLAH who in my opinion were the best players esteghlal had all season are absent

USA groups is too open , Turkey should finish first , it hard cause the USA is basically at the same level as Australia and Paraguay, I feel Paraguay is actually technically better than both …..

Austrialia to me seems like a dark horse, so if you rank based of actually pride to play for their country and technically ability it would be

Growing up in USA I can say two things:

1) Their athletes are built different. They can make any team physically tire out and dont be surprised to see only Australia out of the three match them for physicality.

2) Sports Psychology in US is #1 in the world. They mentally prepare them to be winners in every point, match, and tournament. It is the opposite of Iranians as a culture who either self-flagellate or breaks out into argument and fingerpointing.

When you watch their games it is the same. They are down 2-0 to Brazil with 5 minutes to go but they still believe they can do it. We would never think that way.
