Easiest group we’ve probably ever had - but it’s most definitely the worst manager we’ve ever had and oldest least fit squad we’ve ever had.

if we think shojah and co struggled v Hong Kong , Uzbekistan , Qatar etc they are most definitely not going to do well against an inform Chris Wood, Doku and Salah

Would like to see Eckert called up for the game against New Zealand I think he can be very useful

I just don’t trust Ghalenoei to get anything out of this in the slightest - like what has he proven that he can do as a manager to win big games? We are in poor form and lack defensive discipline

Qualifying from any group of 48 WC teams, specifically when 3 teams make it from some groups and groups are much easier than 32 teams kar sakhti nist!

Dont forget, this is a 48 team World Cup, so the draw cannot be compared to the previous 32 teams editions.

It would be best if one think of this group stage as the next level of qualification. Only the better teams will really be competing after the group stage.

That said, no team comes to world cup to lose, so expect this group be as hard as any other. Sometime weaker teams (at least on paper) pose more issue than the stronger ones.

Iran will have the advange of crowd in most/all of its games in Canada and US.

Lets hope for the best..
