No matter how much I try to ignore the fact that our football is completely dead and there are not even any glimmers of hope, damned, there are things that make me even more pissed than this hopelessness.

• The fact that you have absolutely 0 game planning, no game idea, not even an idea to be able to do the simplest thing, that is to be able to pass the ball, or why not just be able to defend. People sawed CQ because his team did not play offensive and attractive football but at least managed to implement a watertight defense game where "the team" learned to defend. By that I do not mean "bezan ziresh".

• The fact that we have a retarded and illiterate coach who makes people even more pissed off after every match at his press conference regardless of whether he wins or loses by believing that people who listen to his bullshit are as retarded as he is when he claims they played a tactical game, that he boasts that he has introduced a young player of 19 years old!! (The guy got to play 15 min. Then he also substitutes 2 players in ARJ and Danial that are over 32 years old.

• The fact that we have players like ARJ who has been clubless for god knows how long but gets called up to the squad and once he gets playing time, he wears the team captain's armband, doesn't do a single thing right, plays like an animal after almost 10 years in Europe, kicks the opponent in the face and injures him badly and seems completely unfazed.

Jahanbakhsh should have been given a Straight Red Card for that kick. He has played in Europe many years and a player like him should know better than to go for a kick so high.

Under GN we have been getting a lot of Red Cards which should tell you something about his player selection and tactics.

The only person that can do something is Taj. The problem is he himself is incompetent and corrupt.

Keep your expectation for the WC at its lowest Unless something drastic happens

as much as i think GN at best WAS ok for club onam at his prime 10 years a go and not now
but we can not only blame him for fossil age players in TM, as also mentioned when players like Alishah, Rafiei, Cheshmi, Shoja are still starting in our big clubs and no young kid in regular base shine in this crappy system or better to say not enough chance is given then we should wait for worst even!

Three things that need to happen before the next FIFA window.

1) GN needs to go. We can't afford to wait until March. Every friendly counts between now and the WC. Preferably the new coach should be Iranian ( Nekounam, Tartar, etc...) or someone with history in our football (except CQ or Branko). We don't have the time for someone to familiarise themselves with our players.

2) The following players should not be called up anymore, for any reason: Shoja, Noorafkan, Nemati for footballing reasons. Beiro, JB, Ezzatollahi, and Taremi for squad dynamics reason. I appreciate what they have to done for TM and their careers in the past, but no matter how good you are, TM should not be ran by a gang of players who care more about themselves and their friends than growth of our football. I know this might sound insane, but these guys are actively killing our football at this point.

3) After the youth Asian cup, Ravankhah should be made an assistant of the new manager to help integrate the stars of that team into the Squad before the world. We need at minimum 4 under 23 starters at the next world cup.

I never thought I'd say it, but Branko or Skocic would be better at this point than this fucking retard we have in charge. Skocic has a good track record of winning in intl football and while Branko sucks, at this point, we have hit rock fucking bottom and need to shake it up.

Don’t want to come off as a blind optimist, but in spite of how shitty everything seems, I do believe the team will figure it out when it counts.

Nobody thought we’d pull off a great performance and win against Wales after being thrashed by England, but we did.

Nobody thought we’d beat Japan in the Asian Cup, but we did.

I don’t think we’ll choke in all the games in the WC next year, but like always, we’ll have one good performance but be unable to finish the deal.

Our best WC squad in the past 25 yrs was our 2018 squad, because it was meticulously built by a coach with a vision.

GN has no vision, and unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about it. But I think our players’ gheyrat will save us from full embarassment.

I just don't understand the thinking when Beiranvand tries the same short pass to our CBs under pressure from Russian attackers and they realize they can't get the ball out in time and turn the ball over.

Do they not see that they are off the pace of modern football? Are they ignoring it? It's like they assume the other team will be as slow as the press of Damash Gilan or Al-REED. It's infuriating.

The importance of every player attaining their Absolute optimal fitness & stamina for WC can not be overstated ..!
wc games are often played at extreme Intensity pace & physicality..!
dont care how skilled you may be as a footballer but if you can’t keep pace with the pace & intensity of the action on the pitch your impact will be severely diminished & limited ..!

in nearly every wc our best performers have always been those in most optimal physical & stamina shape ..!

regardless of who ends up coaching us , a shortly pre-wc, (two + week) training camp will benefit us much more than the few lousy friendles that IFF can often muster organizing..!

our best ever wc performance in 2018 was preceded with such 2-3 weeks of conditioning training camp followed by a couple of test matches for final refinement of team tactics ..!

TM as a whole has performed largely unorganized & poor under GN, even in our big wins..! Mostly due to our shaky defensive posture/leaky backline & blatent weaknesses in CM positions..!
Tbh, I thought TM looked largly decent in our narrow defeat in OT vs uzbecks..! Where due to early red card, GN waa forced to adopt an overall cautious & counter attacking approach..!

he really needs to adopt a more familiar to our players, overall defensive team posture & give up on/abandon his ignorantly haphazard, clusterfkish seeming hoojoomi playing tactical ambitions

Our football is political and GN is exactly at the same page as the government so they keep him no matter what. Have they ever listened to the people??? and do you really think these mullahs have any idea about football?? think again.
